anyone have any problem kicking from 1st gear to 2nd gear? will the gear get stuck at the neutral after 1 kick? and will your bike die without jerking or any sound when try to move off from 2nd gear? it will just die without jerking??

nothing wrong with your bike, it just you not yet get familiar to it, ride more worry less

yah..like wat nick says...it may be due to you r not used to the bike,Ride more often....or he can "longbang" u on his fazer for a round and u can learn from there? juz joking lar...

k on the topic of probs wit bikes, im experiencing slight prob too.. with starting the bike..

 

description:

standard procedure insert key on ignition,

on mainstand, side stand up

press ignition button..

nothing happens, the yellow light "engine trouble" according to manual lights up,

clutch in, kick 1st gear press ignition nothing happens

 

turn off key, on again and can start...

 

this happens quite a number of times....

 

any diagnosis?

its seller right, they can put whatever price they think they want but let say you are the buyer, will you buy from him or you prefer to pay a little more to get a brand new exhaust? More often than not, that 2nd hand already has some permanent deformities on it

hmmmmmmm.

may be the side stand (sensor) is problematic..maybe u can bing down to HL for a checkup on this..sometimes it can detect and sometimes cant...my 2 cents...

Hi,

 

the bike needs a litle throttle to start up, so simply pressing the start button like a super 4 will not start the bike.

 

The engine trouble light can light up before the engine is running, but panic only when it stays lighted after the engine starts. Else, nothing to worry about. ya...

it depends from what brand/model as well.. unless the exhaust you got is quite jialat in performance/condition..

 

for all i know, micron exhausts are damn hot in the market.. but nobody letting go..

agreed.. but 2nd hand don't usually mean 50% off immediately, alot of it has to depend on the condition of the item that you are selling..

try increase ur idling.. shud be min at 1000rpm. anything less and it tends to stall.

 

adjust ur clutch, cud be too close.

check ur ignition connections, starter connections, sidestand sensor and emergency cut off switch. sumtimes is just a contact issue..

my ex-04 FZ6 encountered something like tat before.

But my yellow light "engine trouble" keep stay "On".

I went to HL and they found a wire near the gear area was exposed,"cut" in a way.

After taping the wire,it's ok liao.

normal non-abs are consisting of 3 hoses, cost $150...

micron have been hard to find for quite sometime now.. wanted it for my fz6 but cannot find it.. dun think its legal for 07 model also.

The OEM ABS model brake hose is already very powerful for regular ride.

 

What is your list of items you have prioritise to install once you have gonna your bike? May be by doing so it can beter set aside your budget for after market parts.

Check with you guys, when i mount my HB rack for my FZ-1s 09, the rack (the box frame) is actually touching the bottom of the tailboard, not sure if any pressure is applied on the tailboard. tried using a $2 note to pass through the gap but the gap is totally close.

 

Is anyone experiencing the same problem as me ?

i worry that sudden jerk of the shock may cause my rack to whack into my tailboard man >.

bro, i think the rack can be adjust slightly... try that out?

if can, then u can add in a thick rubber layer in between ur rack & ur tail board?
