Hey guys...the vara group have shared some interest in collecting some small donation for our Singaporean couple who is having trouble right now in America as their AT is down...they have been travelling since they just got married which is last year Jan...i've been on and off reading and updating myself on their blog of the round the world trip...

 

So as a biker myself,i thought life is really tough when you're in a place not of your own without knowing who to look for in times like this...

So,a little contribution would be meaningful...it could be as cool as $5 to start.

 

the collection for monies is purely volunteer basis. No amount too small.. No amount too large... We pledge here for the care of helping a Singaporean Biker in trouble.. That rider's experience is priceless & all of us can benefit from his knowledge if one day, god permits, we wish to pursue a similar dream or part-there-of. So lets help bring a kindred Singapore biker ride on to one day reach home ! *

yah...i goin to paint this...i thought of sending to shop...then ask fatmonk to decal the bugger...instead of tenere...TDM...:cheeky:

 

acerly that time my friend got do up his KLX...the paint his whole bike...hub,engine,triple clamp,swingarm,tank,everythg...make his bike look like new...$350...the shop is at yishun...

 

i was thinking of doing the same place...

 

swingarm,fork and bodyframe flat black....the shroud,front mudguard,and the rear to khaki...then i will project the yoshi joint at Sengkwang for high mount...the rear rack and the muflap i feel like removing...use my XR650R muflap and find aftermarket rack...the TDM stock rack also pathetic...can't even place H&B top rack....

hold on to your ponies...yesterday pbs came down to collect the panniers,he said that someone from sbf also do such service...car painting shop...he will come down personally to see your bike,and will give you quotation on the spot...fuuuh.....:thumb:

this one we wait until pbs comes back from his riding trip,then you,me,fatmonk and pbs we call the bugger and ask him come down...sure got mass paintwork deal....:cheeky:

I will keep the update from the vara thread...they are the ones who kept the ball rolling...so i think 1 of them is the representative...for me,i just help to spread the word...see if anyone from this side of the thread willing to charity...but it seems rather disappointing....:(

eh sala la. I said someone told me got cheap and good painting. If I remember correctly it was the guy from Lavender Motorworld told me. Said that the Kallang Industrial there near the Ah Boy workshop got one shop to spray paint. He told me someone did before and it was cheap and good. Something like whole faring $150 or $300. Can't remember the price but I remember it was cheap.
