From my little experience with mechanics, when I see them fixing up the engine block I have never seen any mech using torque wrench.

 

When I tried to hunt around for a torque wrench, a wrench that is calibrated and certified cost over 1k. If I have the moola I will sure get one.

 

Too bad, I did not win the TOTO.

Not necessary lah...can be gasket blown..have a mechanic look it up but do get second opinion. By my judgement..if its engine block cracked..your coolant will leak and when engine hot...you get white smoke. I'm sure its just gasket blown...so just change a new set.

 

Possibility caused are too much eo or uneven tightening of engine block segmented bolts.

Your total should be 3 litre including X-1R mixed blended inside olehdee. If its 3 litre and plus X-1R (how much?)...like dat.. liao!

i recently had the 'bike-very-hot-until-pillion-can-feel-the-heat' problem, and apparently some circular tubing (behind the carb) was broken and leaking coolant. had it changed and bike was fine already.

 

that is, until this! i just checked my bike and this is what i saw. suspect leaking, but from where sia...anyone experienced this before? help anyone? =(

would agree is gasket worn off. but send to mech to double check. mine had to change gasket before too, it was under the situation tat my coolant is always empty. bike still can go on and no smoke, but just very hot.

Oh dear.. The same thing is affecting my two colleagues, one riding an FP-plate Ver S and another, an FN-plate PB1. Both cases, their respective mechs advised them to change the gasket inside. But both bikes are still running well without the gasket-change.

 

But wubefrub! Your leakage seems very bad! The fins are all soaked in engine oil sia.. Better get it done fast!
