hi guys..bro CM..if i nv remember wrongly,kenso jetting kit comes in 4 sizes..should be universal ba...so i think it shouls beable to use in other same capacity bikes you mentioned..

 

ya lor...wanna plan a local outing already so hard...then u wanna to KL together..maybe we should plan a outing locally first..get to know each other better..then we look forward to going KL sometimes lor..think this should be better ba..

Guys, for your info:

 

My bike the stuttering and flat spot as well as my engine die off was because of my meter. There is a PCB in the SPEEDOMETER side which broke and caused the current to leak. Was solved by the mechanic from Combine Motors. luckily it wasn't my CDI. Cost me $200+ to change just the internal of the SPEEDOMETER.

 

Now my bike feels good. FC also getting better.

Get more mileage with full tank. Just tried my top on Sun at 2nd Link. Can clock top 180km/h already. Phew~!

 

Bike feels good, I feel good too. Engine sounds and feels smoother. Exhaust note sound more crisp. Hehehe~!

hi, i jus bought a super4 verS few months back.. sadly hav no frens riding this bike.. so all e problems i have i go to the mechanic or read up tis useful forum. however though i hav a few qns.. ( pls pardon me if these qns hav been answered b4).

 

1st - my full tank of usually usually hit up to a max of 310-330 then reserve. is this normal? riding is usually 80-100km/h.

 

2nd - is there any helmet lock under the seat? coz if i place a helmet under the seat i cant seem to close my seat.

 

3 - yesterday i was riding(while listening to mp3) n noticed my engine was producing loud noise n vibration. at 80km/h it was showing a rpm of 5.5. i was a bit disturbed and tot that sumting is wrong.. i went on riding for abt 5-10 mins witohut realising that i hadnt change to my last gear!!! no wonder it was so loud. qns is.. was there any damage done by me riding witout changing gear for abt 5-10mins.. ?

welcome to the S4 family.i am riding a ver S too. It is a powerful bike. No regrets getting one.

 

1)310-330 before reserve is normal

2)there is a hook under the seat where u put place ur helmet strap. It can be lock.I done it countless times

3)It will not damage your bike just that your fuel consumption will be higher

hmmm i did it at a shop after BM Rajah Shop near Ah Gua lane...hmmm they took about 3 days only...i think their shop is trust-worthy as I have left my TZM there before...

 

Go check out a few shops around that area...you can sure find shops salling at that price...

Hi pple, just got a Version S about a week... enjoyed the bike but theres a question... every morning when the engine is very cold and i start the bike, there is a few tak tak sound the 1st few seconds... not say very loud but can hear if u stand beside it. its not tic tic... its a few tak sound, i ask mechanic he say because the EO all settle at the bottom and its circulating up the top of the engine thats why got the tak tak sound, after about 10 seconds like that the sound goes away and the bike very smooth. Im scared theres problems with the engine leh... can anyone please advise me?

shouldn't b a engine problem..... i thk u r referring to e sound from starter carbon.... at most starter carbon gone.

I agree with what the mech says. Thats what my mech says too and I trust him. Plus its true actually when the bike starts to warm up then the sound starts to fade coz of the engine oil already lubricate most part. I have that problem everyday. Somemore if I got problem with bike, always go to my mech first then work. coz work and shop very near. 2 bus stop away only.
