How much is it to change the speedometer and RPM meter casing? the white internal and the external chrome casing? Mine crack and unstable due to that fall. somemore the speedometer seems stress when I tried to ride more than 120km and the speedometer like very hard to go. sheesh...

Hey Jarrett,your bike look nice le...how much u change for the 3pts crash bar?? Heard that need to change the centre shaft in order to secure the third pt...not to forget...ur tyre sport demon

 

hondaman - last time i accident..my 2 chrome casing and the internal parts all screwed..but left side more jialat..then i rebuild my meter at AutoPoint amk..$280..cum back shiew shiew..but that time my internal most important bracket nv chui la..the biggest black piece..but maybe wat cookie_monster mentioned might be cheaper...depends the condition of ur meter too..

 

edyz - i ask u 1 ques ah..ur tail is secured or not? Or at some area need to cable tie or something..btw..are u able to open up for the below compartment? and ur bike so chio but ur pic so small...wanna observe ur bike also hard le...wanna view at its most beautiful also hard ah...

 

BTW,who wanna change your headlight to jarrett ones?? I have one lying at home collecting dust le..anyway,its black in color..i selling cheap..$30neg nia..u wanna,i can help u install it.. but i only will be free on the 8th aug le..

Hi,

 

AhBoy JB is located just after the flyover of JB Traffic Police building..

 

Try and follow this...

Once u get to JB, make a U-Turn down to where the money changer near the Shell petrol stn at Jln Wong Ah-Fook. Do not turn to Jln WAF and go straight ahead. U will see a split road heading to Jalan Bandar, Singapura and Taman Sentosa after the second Shell petrol stn where there is a motorshop on the left. Keep rite follow the road to Tmn Sentosa. centre is back to S'pore, Keep right all the way.

 

U will pass thru a tunnel and there is a Balai Traffic Polis Johor Baru on ur right side. Once you pass thru the tunnel keep left. U need to make an illegal left turn once u pass the tunnel and the shop is on ur left. Go slow coz its not easy to cut thru the road if there is lots of vehicles.. Becareful!

 

There is one petrol kiosk (BP) next to the shop.

 

Fellow S4 riders here, If u guys have a better clearer explaination you may add on to this post. All the best! If u lost ur way ask ppl ard they shd know..

Wah I c bro jarret and bro superpig4 white color bike make me scared already.I thought of spraying white but I'm not that cleanliness type of person some white can easily dirty ah...scared2 coz too lazy to wash..hahaha. Mine is silver dark but I thought of changing it to Silver.

 

Where to change the tail ah? mine has a bad scratch due to previouse owner using box. so now left & right of the tailboard got deep scratch. how much?

 

Thanks for the info on the meter price. Maybe I'll got to Ah boy to change the outer layer casing.

 

Yester when I went out to singapore custom, I saw this vtec with the same tailboard as bro shahrul. but the rear brake light very funny lei, the right side seems to be brighter than the left side.

but wish to know more abt wat's the diff between ver S and all other vtec?

 

performance difference?

 

and lastly when gettting a ver S heard fren shop the stock parts better..

 

wat are the parts tat are difference? (nd to check when buying)

hi ppl~ been busy lately..and the forum so slow..sigh~

 

[3]`chUn - hi chun,actually the only big difference between the two version is the engine..version s 16 valves,vtec only 8 valves. but in term of pick up,vtec more faster ba..beside that,the overall looks also not the same,vtec looks more sporty and lower whereas version s looks big and tall. both fuel capacities are the same 18L,but version s fuel consumption is better. Performancee wise i think both the same in term of top speed lor. For parts and maintainence,Version S is cheaper...accessories wise,both version share the same accessories..only a handful of accessories like vtec indicator..version s canot install cos no vtec mah..

 

But overall,if u got extra cash,get a vtec. but if u dun,source for a better condition version s as its an old bike liao..bound to have tears and wears parts to replace..eg like clutch plates etc..

 

When u source for version s,remember to check any coolant leakage at the engine components..cos last time i nv check..engine leak coolant..sianz..to repair,its gonna cost a bomb..lolz.. till now i haven repair..still working fine le..ahaha~
