where do u get grounding wires.. 8AWG am i right? correct me if i m wrong..

Any car acessories or Hi-Fi enthusiast should have and OFC treated. Can use 6 awg too if you want but make sure your terminal lug fits. Scrape off all painted surfaces off paint when termination at that area. Use a good gold non oxidation block for common termination to battery.

How old is your bike and does it has "grounding" done?:sian:

Manufactured in 96 and I'm the 2nd owner. When I got the bike from him, did a servicing to the carbs at HKL and thats it. Since then, no more servicing.

Abt the grounding, I'm not so sure. Care to explain?? Hehehehehe!

Possibilities: Wheel bearing damage, chain tensioner adjustment slightly off, engine mounting bolts may be loose, crash bar (if using three point type) mounting bolt not correct type and last but not least..uneven tyres wear.

Have and with one of thepillion grab bar unit (left). Due to box rack mounting, previous owner must have taken it off to make way for the rack brackets.

Leaking PRECISELY from which part of the fuel cork..the tap part or from the fuel hose to the cork? If from the tap part, no choice..have to replace the whole unit..whole set cost around $50+ from LAB. They have the diaphragm kit set at $30+ but not recommended.

If the fuel hose, just cut a bit off and reinsert the tube..use cable tie to lock it tight.

I Bo_Tai_Teok one lag..but Sat after 4 should be ok. Your vibration at just that particular 80km is not an easy one..bte, when did this happened? Last time or since you got the bike got or not? Did you go to a mototiam before this happened..and what did you do there?:sian:

Best is to use kerosene and clean that area and see if any fresh eo is coming out from the gear shift level shaft to the crank case..if it is, the seal need to be change..less than $20..including workmanship same place you had ur clutch cable changed. It could be your change lube dripping..so do the above to find out first before going.

Ya i also think that 80km/h should have vibration.. But cos i went for carbs wash + floating pins change + carb to exhaust rubber change + tuning then become like that le..

>>"80km/h should have.."

Errr..don't know leh unless everyone has then that's normal. But why would I design a bike that gives vibration regardless of performance range in speed..doesn't sound right leh. Mine do have leh :sian:

So much you did for your carbs..was there any reason in the first place? If you need to clean carbs..best can do without opening and dismantling anything in it.
