>>"80km/h should have.."

Errr..don't know leh unless everyone has then that's normal. But why would I design a bike that gives vibration regardless of performance range in speed..doesn't sound right leh. Mine do have leh :sian:

So much you did for your carbs..was there any reason in the first place? If you need to clean carbs..best can do without opening and dismantling anything in it.

Haha i think i phrase wrongly.. I mean b4 i open my carbs for washing there isn't any probs.. But then after i open, i find that my carbs have some fur balls in it.. Then when i checked my air filter, those furballs are huge inside..

For me is previously, i do not have vibrations when hit 80km/h but after washing.. The prob surface.. hai~

No..only PB1 originally has but however you can install 3rd party. There are local made ones and please check the quality of joints welding and tensile strength before deciding to install it. As for Vtec 1 among the Vtec..hear it cannot be install likely due to no mounting points or mid header exhaust displacement.

Non vtec from 1995/6 PB1 and Ver "S/R" should be interchangeable..but with Vtec..no but among the Vtec themselves..it's another whole ball game among themselves. What are you trying to fit to..ur PB1?

i'm thinking of fitting original OEM side panels cos my current one is chrome ones. i'm thinking of making my whole bike back to black so wanna change back lo. but if it's not feasible, then i'll just stick to the chromed ones.. it's unique in its own way oso ma.. lol

haha.. nice to hear that!

i just took off 2 wiring that is causing the resistor to be hot..

apparently my voltmeter shows higher voltage (although still inaccurate)

after grounding indeed throttle more responsive!

Just service your original gantung, and maybe change the springs to Vtec one, the spring coils are nearer so feel stiffer, or try adding spacers ($60 for both sides). Can try K & T, look for clifford. Last I went there he got 2 vtec springs for sale (RED).Think he quoted 300+ to service and 400+ with the vtec springs + spacers (super stiff) ... Can check with him.. 67455463...He also told me Bitubo not really good for heavy riders like myself and not worth the money... Just my 2 cents worth

Try replenishing the nitrgen gas in the canister first...if still cannot then you might need to service the springs.

Belray..quite a name in the old days but with X-1R..you don't really need to spend on expensive oil. 10/40W is good for fairly new bike but if its older, get 20/50W if have, otherwise use viscosity enhancer to get the "W" more suitable.

What lights hah?

"..service so many times already"..your SHOWA? I only refurbish (rebuild) my once 9 years ago and still ok...but not "service". Check out David from Teck Thye..he's a specialist for this..for rebuild at $240 with extra spring spacer for better rebound rate throw in.
