Hi Guys n Guru Of The Forum,

Thanks again for all the advice last couple of mths. Had my VerS refurbished n now running like new. Juz need 2 ask u guys afew more questions....??

1) Watz the max in KM can VerS travel? Mine on full tank is 200km b4 reserve.

Is that standard/ Normal?:sian:

2) Is there a good bike wash place, ( East Coast/ East ) area where i can go n wash my bike? Polish etc. Use 2 do it in Msia. Lazy now. Hehe:dozed:

3) How often u guys service the bikes, every 5,000km? On sync motor oil? Coolant change/ Check. Curb service/ check. Oil change...etc??:thumb:

Thanks again for all yr advice. Appreciate them very much. Have stayed out of the Bike scene 4 a long time now. Hehe Cheers

1) 200km is very poor...usually about 280km to 320km or better.

3) Normally 3000 - 5000km but depend on your riding style. If you ride like No.46, at 1500 km can change liao. Use X-1R for better performance and long interval change. Coolant very important..better check that level is correct and never use tap water.

Stupid Hurts!.:giddy:Speed doesn't kill, mistakes does :faint:

Ah Pek... so can just top up with distilled water (those bottled ones)? cos my coolant level is starting to go to the lower marking soon.

No coolant is needed. Get a bottle of "Diax" coolant concentrated..easily available at NTUC that has car accessories like NTUC central hub or most ESSO kiosk..formulated for tropical use. Use with distilled water (not mineral) oso available at Supermart. Mixed 1 part to 3a nd top into the reserve tank till upper mark.

ah pek, firstly i would like to compliment your blends. it works man!! i like it. super performance. now, i have more trust in this 'baby.' haha!

what i can say is that, its worth the money. thumbs up for you. Even my friend was impressed with the performance on his bike. he told me the starting still cant be a single start. maybe he needs ur blend to work it out.

sorry, bout yesterday was kinda of rush. i had to pick someone up at airport. nevertheless, we should meet up someday.

ah pek, do help me check it out yea for the coil. or maybe got 2nd hand but working wonderfully; who knows. I think when grounding time i didnt feel the brightness is maybe due to coil.

Im loving every moment with my LV.

Glad it works for you..enjoy your ride and take care of it...you find that it be very much part of your life sometime.:cheeky:

As for your friend's bike..change of spark plug will do if he haven't yet..and better still, grounding.

Yah..will check the coil replacement costing for you (now raining) and get to you soonest I got it.

Your bike clutch is ok so far. We don't usually check clutch plates..there may be reference figure for it but have not seen anything of mileage reference yet. I guess it depend on each individual rider's handling and useage of it. If you race and play half clutching or you are lousy at it, needless to say, its wear of fast. There's no telling by mileage usage so just have to wait for the symptom like when full clutch in..the bike tend to creep forward.

As for timing chain..not to worry about that till its bad..its a "hardy" thingy and when it's going bad, you sure know by then (slashing sound in engine).

I would like to share to bros here that we should not go by mileage to change engine oil. We should go by feel; when you kick up or down to engage your gears, it is not that smooth anymore then that is the time you should change your oil.

Talking about X-1R, im a user of X-1R and this awesome stuff works.

Kudos to Ah_pek for bringing in this product. :thumb:

hey guys, anyone using H4 white bulb and do u feel tat ur headlamp cover is quite hot aft a while???

White or incandescent H4..they are all hot. Power wattage decide the heat factor..the fact that the H4 is white is because of "light temperature"..that's the glass being blue..a mixed with incandescent, it looks white. HID is freaking hot!

Hard to sa say...original should be "Stanely"..if not..some chiong or pariah ones will..not melt but blur and a little 'distorted'.
