Ah Pek, i think checking then changing the pump will cos more cos of the time taken to check and drain the coolant.

 

I think i will take my chance and juz change the pump. Cos i think my prob same as yeoo's bike. It's a 50-50 so i think i will take my chances ba..

Hi Guyz, im new here. i just bought a Project Big One. can anybody share with me abt this bike?eg;fc and other more...some people told me that this bike don't have power cut?is't true????sorry guyz i just wanna know from you guyz who know more about Project Big..

Congratulation! Yah...no power cut. A good one can give you top speed till your meter runs dead at 190 km/hr. FC is subjective..depend on riding style and bike condition.

 

Why don't join us on Sunday at AMK Ave 10 Blk 409 Teck Ghee Square (meeting time 9.45 to 10.15 am) for bike talk over breakfast. There are ppl like yourself sharing their experiences.

Don't think, don't thought..always make sure!...what if after changing the pump and problem still there???..and cost even more to replace the thermostat again..you can change your nick to "Lan_Lan" liao...LOL!

 

Don't be silly lah..let the mech that I recommended do their standard trouble shooting. There are procedures and ppl will tell you before they have to do what to do.

 

Anyway..its up to you lah..its your bike.

Hello guys

 

bought myself a FS plate super4(parallel importer like ssdcl kind) in between version S and hyper vtec.

 

first question, is the rear brake of super4 not so "jiak". mechanic told me that super4 is like that one and it'd cost about 50-60 to service the brake callipers.

 

can share your fuel consumption too for version s. change gear around 4-4.5 rpm.

Your bike don't have Vtec..just the engine block head cover that makes it look liek a Vtec but if yours is what I have seen before, I like the back suspension.

 

Back brakes across all bikes are like that, not only S4. Its design not to have brake locking the wheel from what I understand so that it would not "fish tail" so easily.

 

Fc...it varies across all bikes. If you don't have good friction free eo, bad cooling system..heat is one of the main culprit of power and performance robbing of all bikes and affect fc...from chain adjustment to tyres size..etc..the list goes on.

If memory serve me well, the spring is upside down..that's what I saw the last time and compression part of it got two or so xtra coils.

if i want to top up coolent, where will be gd to get a reasonably gd coolent?

how much will it cost me in average?

 

anyway, i found someone willing to give me a stock s4 headlight at FOC, but rusty, do u think can do a respray for it?
