Nothing to do with all that you suggested. This has something to do with fuel flow as far fuel cut off is concern. It can be your fuel line, kork diaphragm, vacum line, breather tube..basically fuel starvation problem.

For for your fc..that's really bad. First thing to look out for is heat problem..and heat is caused by "friction". From what eo, to spark plug to...etc..(endless) can caused bad fc. Free, next Sunday come down or anytime you can, just give me a buzz..have to look at your bike condition and status before I suggest anything.

Your fc is not good. Fc is very subjective matter due to many factors that can affect it..from bike condition, riding style, tyre size, electrical..etc..BIGGEST culprits being heat from friction and bad combustion. Thus far, I'm not sure how much you have done for the bike and have to understand that you have a "new" bike but its not a NEW bike.

Anway..as for the fuel problem...I can only think of your fuel kork area that's from your vacum tube to teh fuel like and the kork switch and diaphragm. Come on down this Saturday as I have to have a look at it before confirming anything.

Hi ah pek! brandon here , ian's bro. thanks for the effort yesterday man! anyway after much consideration , i think it'd be better for me to groom my bike myself! it'd somehow integra more affection to it. anyway that you could help me purchase the kersone , brush , windscreen polisher and muguire? schedule's kinda tight this week but i feel bad to trouble you as well. most prolly we'd stick to the checking of air filter , carb wash. shinnijg the bike back up to showroom condition that you mentioned would fall on my shoulders!

No worries...I get the stuff for you but when are you going to collect it for your DIY grooming? Before carbs cleansing, best to have the dirty external area done first. So no x-1R and gear oil right?

hi bros.. i just places booking for a super4.. date of manufacture: 1995 date or registration: 1996.. machine price: 1.8k.. insurance:$500 lidat.. is it a reasonable deal or i kanna chop ar? and is it PB1, ver R or ver S? thanks bros.. me abit nube at super4.. all yr advice is much appreciated.. :D

1995 or 1996 that's an old bike. Usually will be in the ver R or PB1 era.. But you nv know it maybe a ver S also.

Another thing you must understand is that you are getting an old bike. So must have the mentality of wear and tear replacement.. That's why initial payup is usually cheap but then maintenance will be higher..

Hi guys.

newbie here.

my Ver R will be coming next week.

A few questions that i need the seniors here to help:

1. Can VerR fit the stock headlight of any other models?

2. Is the CB400 tankbra universal or specifically for that model?

3. Wat are the things i need to look out for, for this old bike.

thanks in advance

Hey akm_inferno,

If possible post your bike pic. Maybe we can take a look and try to guess. If i not wrong PB1's tank shape is slightly different...
