what is a fuel kork, it sounds so alien to me. may i know where can i locate this fuel kork thingy?

Regards,

kifakw

Understeer is when you hit the wall with the front of the car

and oversteer is when you hit the wall with the rear of the car.

Horsepower is how fast you hit the wall,

torque is how far you take the wall with you.

haha, no lei dont have beetec.

thats why i asked whats a fuel kork. first time hearing this term.

Some queries.

Do you guys feel that a Non-VTEC engine is less responsive as compared to a VTEC engine?

Is the acceleration of Version S on par with a VTEC engine?

To Black jet : Read your own posted question carefully :

"Hi,is anyone know that if your bike going to reach reserve. Is it the red light on your meter light will light out? coz i tried until my meter pin to reserve and never see the red light up?

With reference to my answer to it, I was replying to your "Is it the red light on your meter light will light out?" Lfc131 had answered your question as far as knowing when you hit "reserve". To add on, take your fuel gauge needle as just an "early warning" and that you are not into reserve just yet...but about too.http://www.SiteVacuum.com/publisher/GoogleSearchIconShadow.gifhttp://www.SiteVacuum.com/publisher/SuperSearchIconShadow.gif

The two bike engine don't come out together at the same time..how to compare? :sian: Even if there is, you are asking ppl here that are mostly non-vtec owners and there is a reason or more that they prefer non-vtec. Go check the thread where there is a "poll" on which is best..may be that gives you an idea and what I indirectly meant here by "popularity".

hello ppl, need your advice, if my IU unit is spoilt, should i get a new one or just a 2nd hand one? if i'm not mistaken the new one will cost abt $156.

Go to JTC Vicom at Yio Chu Kang and check with them. If spoil and still under the 5 years warranty, they will replace for you free...and with the new model type.

If you have to buy, yes, about that price all the while (new or old model).

for our 4-cylinder bike, it's call carburetor synchronization. :)

purpose: to make sure the all the carburetor slide(4 pcs) at the same time(same opening level) when u throttling.

carb's bike is manual tuning:)

maybe will be confused is they use the digital carburetor synchronizer.

X-ring cost more..X-ring last longer. The rubber sealing ring has a groove pattern rather than just a rubber ring.

thank you very much AH PEK bro for the very useful information..!! :D

Btw bro and all other super4 bros out there, can i ask u a few noob question..? at wat rpm are we suppose to charge gear in super for (for normal riding)? cuz very new to super4, so can't really differenciate the engine sound.. and is it normal for super4 to "engine stall" when trying to move off with the side stand down?

thank you very much for taking the time to answer my questions...!! :)

thank u bro for responding!! :D actually i just got my bike today.. then got really scared on my way back home when i wanted to kick down to gear one from nuetral with the side stand then keep stalling.. i thought the clutch plate "gone" or something.. hehe~ phew! erm, then is it ok if change gear at lower rpm like say 4 or 4.5? will it damage the engine is any way? and also right, is it normal to hav a "knock" sound when to step down to gear one? ( so sorry guys if my question sounds stupid :( )

thanks in advance for responding to my queries!! :D

That's is one way..but not practical as it's takes a long time and some guess work. The stock setting has a fixed setting like 1 & hafe turn out from fully close...etc. Normally such tunning hardly runs out and its tunned to tour status and condition for your exhaust.,,especially when it has changes to it..like changes to end can, fs or modifying the stock exhaust. Just remember the exhaust is a specially designed and tunned to your engine performance.

You have to tunned only when the exhaust eprformance runs out because it's not factory new anymore. The tunning set on the carbs won't change (hardly) and best not to touch it if at all possible..clean your exhaust carbon and soot instead especially at the header outlets (x4).

Last but not least, best done on adyno machine and its expensive. Again, nothing stay tunned forever.
