Hi,

 

Any of you guys have this problem? I only has it after my crash and repair.

 

When my bike goes into reserve, the bike will die. What's worst, it's cannot be restarted even after I switch to reserve! Usually I just deplete the batt after trying for like 10+ times. Then lan lan, bring back to charge batt.

 

After that, I install the batt and it started on the first try!

 

Was wondering is it a fuel pump problem or carb problem? Before my crash, even low in fuel, it can start but just dies off 1-2 seconds later.

harlow, k i just got my yellow Ver S fr plate a week ago.....

and i got a few questions bout my bike.....

guys, need ur pls enlighten me....

 

-my fuel gauge is not stable lah, slant to right it goes full,

slant to e left it goes empty..... makes me both happy and sad at the same

time.... can it be service or repair?

 

-does the fitting of box really contribute to the wobbling of the bike?

 

-changing gears at rpm 4, is it the average rpm,

and for 100km/h rpm6 is it a norm.....

 

-lastly the worst mileage u ever heard for full tank how far....

mine 230km meter go below res oredy...

my fuel gauge is really demoralising indeed...

 

anyone got the manual for ver s in any form?

yes .... ver s can fit aftermarket end cans ..... there's a pic of someone's ver s with micron end can at bikepics topic ....

- ver s fuel guage is like that lar ..... it's very sensitive ....

 

- yup .... it will affect .... coz fitting box is call accessory .... it also block the "cut wind" affect ......

 

- most ppl will say 6k rpm at 6th gear shold be around +- 90km/h

 

- most ver s could go at least 400km for a full tank .... maybe u could change ur jettings at ur carb .... what size .... i dun know .... check with ur mech ......

 

- gd luck in finding the manual .....

 

- lastly ..... ride safe ......

hey hey.. its up agn..

well faradona.. mine used to be like urs.. 230 km only full tank..

wat i changed was my engine oil

service carb

new oil filter wash my k and n filter and clutch plate.. cost me abt 430 at everbright but wat was d problem was my clutch hoousing.. there was a break in it.. thus more effort to pick up speed.. changed for a second hnd 1 at 130 at yishun and now my full tank can last me for 440km.. hope this helps

Hey guys, my ver s like not so smooth.....so if do servicing and wash carb will it be smooth and my engine like veri rough..so do i need to do overhaul?? coz i seldom drag the bike...so will it effect the power of the bike:confused: or izzit to much carbon.

too much carbon .... hrm .... maybe but unlikely ....

 

try installing ground wire - to me it helps

 

or

 

clean ur air filter .... i change mine n it so smooth

 

overhaul only need to be done when there's really a problem like oil leaks lar .... piston jam lar .... block scratch lar .... some unusual sound come out from ur engine like "help me help me" hehehehehe

 

i really dun think u need an overhaul .........

I jus bought my version s just now. cool... but i realise that there is a strange sound when i ride the bike.... kiuuk...kiuuk...kiuuk sound. anyone know how to get rid of the sound?
