i'm using KYB rear shock... well it is not that how do i say... that good.. i meant i think its worn out and its time to change... can u fellow non vtec comrades recommend me something. gazi shocks or watever, someone here recommended me to get a 2nd hand showa rear shock at Sin ming. hey u shld get manzz's bitubo shocks ...he's sellin around 470 i tink...its worth it it....also it looks very unassuming...theif wld rather steal other shocks den this...im also using e same shocks w a wing rack w 2 side box n a top box n it feels very sturdy....well considering it was preloaded for 2 combined weight of 180kg..bitubo shocks dont come along every day...consider it k bro....cheers...happy new yr to all

i have a problem...

 

i used to hit my mid pipe when i go over big humps when pillion bcoz my showa suspension too soft..

 

but i jus change to Gazi suspension only.. when alone riding is very strong.. when pillion my frien (60kg) go 1st link msia checkpiont hump also never hit...

 

yester i pillion my other friend (ard 90kg) go defa lane.. go thr upper paya lebar rd (which there is underground works there).. i keep hitting my pipes below.. mid hump in normal carpark also hit..

 

y? btw i ard 80kg already..

 

do suspension riser helps?

hey guys, my pb1 engine stalled when i hit 140km/h ytd.when i restart my bike at e road shoulder,i can c coloured smokecoming out frm my exhaust.y izzit so?izzit too much carbon tts y my engine stalled?

My rear tire is about to finish so I need to change it.

Any recommendation for which brand model and size tire to get.

can fix those tires which those s4 vtec uses?

HOw long to change the engine oil and how many bottle it needs.

As for the tyres, currently i using BT39 size 150. If you use 160 profile, your tyre will be super oversize and you won't be able to use finish the corners. I have tried Sportec M1 before and can't manage to finish using it. Just felt tat it is a waste.

As for the engine oil, you will need 3 litres (3 Bottles). I change my Engine Oil every 5000k i travel. some ppl change it every 3000k. Depends on individual riders.

For tyres, I just recently changed to IRC PRO-TECH made in Japan. Got it from Pleasure Motors at 250 a pair. Feedback is its on par with reknown brands...

actually depends on ur budget n wat type of rider ur...r u e type who chalk up high mileage?....i recently got gt501 arrowmax for $120 for rear size 150 at hkl (i tink expensive ley...i tink i kena ketok lah) n bt39 for front size 110 at $70 at lab.....for me im a high mileage fella...e rear tyre i jus passed around 20k km n e thread still thick lah n i changed last aug...e front tyre ..well still in ok ok condition but will have to change next 4 mths...my first pair was gpr70 n it lasted me only 9mths n i still ride even when there was no thread life....for me 190for a pair is alright as long can last me long2 like maybe 40k km...jus my 50 cents....

Hi, I have a pretty new (1 month approx 2000 km) BT090 rear size 150. If you wanna try this tire, why not we exchange (i.e. you pay for my replacement tire, you get my tire, I pay you a little for discount) cos I wanna try the stock size (140) tire.

 

BT090 is considered road/racing use, so it's relatively soft and has good corner grip. However, because it's soft the centre part may wear off pretty fast. A good tire if you like to play corners or occasional track.

is changing the disc brake rotor cheap?
