May be may be not. Have you tried adjusting your clutch? What have you been using for eo or in the fuel tank?

 

clutch? nope have not adjusted them before but its quite far back from the grip.

clutch free play makes a difference? really not the clutch plate?

 

for my EO, just normal synthetic oil :dot:

is it due to the EO because ah pek you always said heat robs away power.

been wanting to try your nano technology oil.

 

fuel tank, normal RON95 fuel oil from petronas without green oil or additives added.

Ah pek. Thanks for changing the coolant for my verS. Real ACTIVE stuff. Also learn alot from you.

Why not give it a go with my eo wif X-1R and the clutch..should be no problem checking for u and adjust if the need be.

hi guys.. im riding a vs.. my bike fc can only go until around 270km before switching to reserve.. i've looked through the thread most of u guys can go up to 450km which is almost double my fc... can anyone tell me whats wrong wif my bike or what need to be done..?? my bike are all stock parts.. riding speed usually arnd 90-110km/hr...

was wondering if you guys have this problem.

 

bike acceleration in gear 1 feels very slow with strong engine brake and like got lesser pulling force as compared to gear 2 3 & 4.

 

from 1 to 6 rpm for all gears, bikes feels as though that there's very little pulling force for a 400cc (torque).

 

is it because of the clutch plate, ah pek?

 

 

i tried dragging the other time till redline for gear 1 to gear 6.

 

gear 1 can hit 60 km/h

gear 2 can hit 70 km/h

gear 3 and 4 stays at 80km/h (even though RPM is increasing for like 2k to 2.5k rpm)

only after gear 5 and 6 is engaged, bike is able to hit 100km/h

 

is it because of the gear ratios of the bike? or because of the shifting? or because of the worn out clutch plate again?

my bike on gear 3 or 4 already hit past 100 wor..

on gear 5 hit past 130... on gear 6 red line its clearing the meter liao. :confused:

 

all gears went into redline den shift and redlining on gear 6...

 

but only dare to try after first 'treatment' from ah pek, x1r:faint: didnt clear meter only reaching... tried again after grounding from ah pek wif x1r... cleared meter liao.. tried again after changing nano mix also from ah pek recently... same manage to clear meter.

 

disclaimer: i m not saying that with ah pek' stuff u can clear ur meter easily. its after using ah pek's stuff i had the confidence to try knowing that my bike has the right amount of protection in it. different bike and rider might produce different results. i m just sharing my individual results.

 

i love the term that ah pek like to use... 'liquid engineering'. :cheeky::cheeky:

was using a different oil before switching to ah pek oil

can feel the big difference

RPM needle hit red line very fast compare to previous :angel:

Yah mannn!...power to ur ride. Plse do monitor the next full tank for me..and errr..don't throttle happy leh..another nano also won't help...LOL!:angel: Not to worry about the end can lah..you get used to it sooner or later. At least can go tunnel without damaging your eardrums.:)

 

yes.. will do... just top up full tank yesterday. now clock 50+clicks already and the fuel gauge hardly moved yet. for mi is mostly highway average 100-110km/h.

 

first day change end can my gear change very 'un-smooth' :cheeky::cheeky:

previously is listen to the endcan sound to up shift or down shift... now occasionally have to take a peek at the rpm meter..:cheeky::cheeky:

Does the route you take for your daily rountine invvles in heavy or tight traffics? If this is the case, the fc cannot compare with those that rides on highway from home to work. school..etc. You are not the only case, there are ppl with real good condition bikes also clocking the same fc as yours.

 

Just for info. Those of you that ride gently or so call "not in the Vtec mode" or below 120km/hr or average at 90km/hr does not mean that you USRE to have good fc. FC is very a very subjective 'issue' thingy and many factors can be liable for its good or bad..from traffic condition, riding style and status of bike (mod..etc). Just bare in mind that good combustion gives good performance and thus good mileage and that your bike operates and run best...when coolant is about 200 degrees Fahrenheit (93 degrees Celsius). At this temperature:

•The combustion chamber is hot enough to completely vaporize the fuel, providing better combustion and reducing emissions.

•The oil used to lubricate the engine has a lower viscosity (it is thinner), so the engine parts move more freely and the engine wastes less power moving its own components around.

•Metal parts wear less.:sian:

sure, has always been hearing good reviews about the X1-R.

 

compared X1-R to nano technology EO, which is a better EO?

 

its 96$ for 3 litres? but if let say clutch plate & gasket need to be change, how much is it? since clutch plate is inside the EO.

 

ill book with you, ah pek an appointment the next month. allowance is running low for this month. :cry:

looks like a Vtec model but its a VS model. and its a parallel imported bike from japan.

maybe tomorrow or what, i try to whack it again. see if im indeed right my speed at the gear i am.

 

i never whack past the redline, slightly before redline. but my max rpm is like 2k-3k or so lesser than normal vs/hyper vtec.

 

my gear6, 100-110 km/h @ 7k rpm liao, how to clear sia haha :dot:

 

shall try ah pek liquid engineering for next pay out. now rpm climbing like a snail.

$96?..eo?..no, its $16 per liter. Nano is more advance and its main advantage is regaining compression. X-1R is a friction eliminator.

I don't remember I did that but if you know where that post is, let me know..should get it corrected. But just to make it clear, it's fully sync with ester and blended with two other components and its $16 per litre..so x3, its $48. X-1R and Nano are seperate items.

 

Sunday from 10.30am onwards am free but pm/sms me for any arrangement and further detail.

Feeling like new bike like that smooth. Gear 1 move off smooth. Shiok!:

 

Save $$$ in the long run with Nano. Somemore restore and rebuild my 7 year old engine.
