Wah ah pek,so tempted to have nano in my engine.

Can just add into the X1R EO blend right?

Ah pek, trouble u to pm me the price. Thanks

No problem..but I need to 'applied' it for you..come and I explain.

but I want you guys to know that the Nano I recommended is different from the one advertised here.

Cost is $48 and the Biochemical lube is blended overnite in 1.5 litre of fully sync eo with ester that is blended with to other components.

Wah...your "shiok" so big!...must be extra shiok bike..LOL!:cheeky:

confirm....

now monitoring my FC...

was amazed by the smoothness and the pick up

easily rev to red line and can feel the cut off

other EO so difficult to rev

sirs,

what is your advice for an s4 that is very difficult to bring to a neutral gear while the motor is running or in idling mode...seems the clutch is too hard.... but when i turn off the engine, i can easily put into neutral...it is only when it is running or in idle that is very difficult- just changed oil, filter 30days ago....

also, the plugs are always wet- just not sure if it's EO or gasoline....... when the engine is not on it's usual 'sound', i usually clean plug 1 or 2 or 3 then it is ok again....i have tightened them properly already - but it is usually plug 1 that is always wet- any advice on how to address this?

thanks and more power/

Your clutch may need adjustment that's about all, otherwise, excessive chain slack can contribute to this 'problem' too. As for eo..don't really contribute to much easiler gear changes really as most ppl think so.

Looks like your cyclinder carb 1 is a little to rich for fuel/air or that iginition coil cable to the plug is not supplying enough require voltage (weak sparking).

hi guys i am riding a version s..i heard about 'operating' the header resulting in louder sound with the stock pipe yet passing inspection as the restricter is removed from the header, allowing free flow of air.can i get more details on this?as in where to get it done and the price and things like that?thanks.

You heard?...where and from who?..you should have asked them instead. Header got restricter meh?..what does it looks like? Srry..am just as curious..but couldn't find any post of such at the exhaust thread.

Ah yes..it is lah. Find every excuse to ride ur bike lor..like Ko_pee_tiam next door 20 meters away also start engine and ride there...

Take your time lah Bro..X-1R is still the best..Nano just make it better for compression gain and metal surface rebuilding. Using X-1R, wear and tear also very minimum.:thumb:

Even if you use Nano now..after 3 full tank of fuel, I recommend to put some.

hope everything will be fine after tis.

btw, remember i point out the unplug socket connected to the side of the carb just now? i ran a search on the net n found its name.. but i still duno wat it does... :dot:

its a 'throttle position gauge'. o_Oo_Oo_O

After PB1, all the non vtec version has this thing. The gauge word is self explanatory..in another interpetation, it's a sensor too. It gauages your carbs with relation to your throttling action and in this case for S4, when the throttle twist reach a certain position like "maximum"..where the carbs are fully open and rpm goes up properly to redline if the throttle remains open. The gauage mechanical link kind of send electrical information in dc voltages to another device (cut-off) to restrict your rpm from going higher. Simply put, its part of a cut-off sensor device. If you know how to change the device output cut-off voltage, you by passed the cut-off. Note that its all electrical.

ok i did somemore research abt that thing. its actually called 'throttle positioning system'.

this thing actually started from the late version S model onwards which my bike model is. i thought only the vtecs have it. from the bits n pieces i gather its function is to tell the ecu of the throttle position so that the ecu adjust the fuel intake or increase the electric current to the spark plugs.

hmmm... ur version seems more logical in the case of my bike.

now that explains why i my bike can rev all the way into 14-15rpm zones. :cheeky::cheeky:

ah pek,

thanks for the response.....for the carb 1 mix of air and fuel, does this mean that i need my bike to be synchronized? and/ or i need to change the ignition coil? how much would a set cost?

the wetting of plug 1 usually happens after a week. i clean again and it's ok again...the acceleration is still ok when i clean the plug....but i know it's wet already when the sound is "out of tune"....

thanks again..

ah pek, since u alwaez in this thread, ill update u on my first full tank. went jb pump and recorded my mileage and petrol pumped.

bike on petronas, with knn air filter, full system, ur grounding and eps, plus ur valve cleaner,

my mileage is 395.3 km. And i pumped petrol for 17.93litres full tank.

In other words, my bike consumption is around 22km per litre.

How?

vtec open 30% of the time. but travel on highway 80%, street 20%. speed around 90-120km/hr highway.

Hope will be better wen i get ur eo n x1-r next month!

Ignition coil?...mannn!..that's expensive and I don't think its the ignition coil. Base on your description, its probably carbs problem. It can be the main jet or out of tune like you suspected.

No..its not carbs synchronisation or otehr word, "balancing"..I was refering to tunning as in adjustment of the qir/fuel mixture itself. Since you clean it and it gotten wet later, I reason out that its is only slightly off on the rich side in fuel (may be the jetting hole is out or the needle worn) and that accumutively..it gotten wetter and wetter.

The above is only base on my guess analogy but no problem getting a second opinion. Let me know when you can come to the workshop and get my mech friend to check it out and see what has to say.

Considering at 22km/ltr and travelling 80% on highway..errr..compare with others, I have seen better results...and some of this ppl I do not know what they have. What I want to say here is that you can do may be another 3km/ltr or so better based on 17.93 litres which is almost empty.

The 'problem' with ppl having grounding done is that, instead of having better fc in favour, it turns out the other way..reason: bekuz the respond is good and they become throttle happy.

Even with EPS which help in the electrical load to your ignition coil to achieve full spark plug performance, its another "power zone" thingy that ppl want to ride hard..LOL!

Teh above two said..well, some self discipline or control needed..but what to do?..like me..."The Need For Speed".. When you have X-1R and the eo..mannn!..when speed come even faster without the roughness..I dunno what self discipline i...ha....x3! Anyway, hope you know what I'm gitting at :)

answering the question above about the meguire wax...it can be found at carrefour...cost ard $16-20 iirc...bought long time ago...now used to wax my stock exhaust till kilat2:thumb:
