In terms of dimension.. see AKG's answer... :cheeky:

In terms of capacity, 21L ( 18L + 3L Reserve)

Max I tried, 360km before reserve (100% highway riding between 120 to 160km/h avg speed, msia road)

In spore, about 260-270km before reserve. :thumb:

160 :giddy: check ur mirror more often lol.

anyway the max i've tried is 370, reserve came on at 320+, highway riding 90-120km/hr

Hi Busa riders,i'm asking on behalf of a fren who is riding a busa too.He had this performance problem when he cruise ard 80-100 km/h,the power seem like lagging.Futhermore he had to rev his bike when stopping at junction in order to prevent the bike from dying.Wat are the problems that he's facing? He's riding an 03 busa.

My orgasm starts at 299km/h.....

wat modifications did he do to the bike?

assuming that it's stock and it can't idle properly,

check the

1. throttle body sync and vacuum hoses properly sealed

2. sparkplugs to see if its fouled

3. IAP sensor (mounted behind the airbox) of vacuum hose is properly connected

:goodluck:

IAP is the intake air pressure sensor, TPS will not affect the idling of the bike, it's the IAP sensor that controls the fueling during the idle, when off idle rpm then the TPS will affect the fueling adjustments.

let me know if it's a faulty IAP sensor. I've got a spare one avail. hope its not that though, that's not cheap, a brand new one costs over 300sgd.. :faint:

According to him,the problem only happens after a few mins of riding. When he feels the surge,he immediately open gas to prevent the bike from dying. If he clutch in and close throttle, the bike will die.its as if the fuel is disrupted like dat.The mech oredi checked and cleaned the fuel filter but it still persist.Aniway i've ask him to check his valve clearance to see whether it helps.

Aniway thnx guys for the help.

u need to get to the dealer mode on the bike by shorting the white color plug located at the tail of the bike.

then it will show at where the clock display either _c00, -c00 or `c00. you want to adjust the TPS located at the left hand side of the throttle body (loosen using a torx screw) and adjust it up or down to get the TPS centered at -c00.

if you see that there is a number after the cXX, check for the faulty FI sensor or component.. :thumb:

indeed, a very interesting technical topic..

kaieiru :thumb:

Btw kaieiru, when do serious problems occur on a busa? Roughly how many years later or how many thousands of km after will the problem arise?

I'd just wanna make sure I get the rite things done at the rite time.

Thanks!

oh ya, does anyone noes where I can get a switch fixed onto my bike to turn off and on my headlights? Coz im riding a K5 which does allow me to switch on or off the lights..

I got mine done bu Ah Soon at Gerry Looi. Nice work... but how much I do not know because he did not charge me for it. :cheeky:

Must have been paying too much for other stuff so he threw in the switch for me. I also have a switch to turn on the fan.
