why would want to remove that?

you seem to be trying to remove all the good stuff that Suzuki spent millions in R&D before installing in the bike..

why don't you juz remove the damper while you're at it? how about the fuel tank and engine? :giddy:

jus asking only. :D

The O2 sensor for the GEN 1 busa does quite minor adjustments to the fuel mapping to ensure that the engine runs optimally... why would you want to remove that?

Though at higher revs, the effect is lesser, that 02 sensor will help in the emissions at lower revs..

Noted.

bro i hate to be a B a s t ar d again...

but pls change ur mech....

keep asking u to change out all the suppose to be there and for a purpose parts...

may i know what is the reason that he ask to remove now?

to reduce that few gram??

there is a reason why ppl dun do some mod while others do...

u are a general rider and i dun think u are so hard core to do all the unmention/uncommon mod...

btw u can dun listen to the rest of our advise but kaieriu and nok97 it is best that u listen. they been there and done that. they will know what is best for ur ride. u will not go wrong.

good luck..

oh btw... fuel pump will not cause ur bike nt able to go...or have any kind of vibration...

ur mech might as well ask u to change ur injector to S2000's and mod the fuel rail to give more fuel... then u confirm will feel the bike go.

Btw i'm jus asking abt tis O2 sensor...

I don't think anyone in the right mind would want to remove the O2 sensor, effectively disabling the closed loop fuel management system.

Anyway, the bike will still run, no problem. The ECU will load a default map and not compensate for variations in AFR. The same goes if you remove the ambient temperature sensor, airbox pressure sensor etc.

The bike will still run. Just bear with the flashing FI light.

Noted.

Come on lah... he also never say is the mech ask him to remove one! Just that he asking advice only lah. Maybe his O2 sensor spoil and dun want to get new one leh?

U r right.

Tell people to change the injector and fuel rail? You good lah, corrupt people's mind with such mods!

:D

btw ctk, i am joking i hope u dun mind.

No worries.. thanks for all e advise.

u mean the engine is rough or even when u ball the biek cant go past 260??

if rough may be counter balancer. if cant go pass 260 then may be fuel pump. :giddy:

My bike from 170Km/H and RPM @ 5500 engine starting to became rough.

depends on wat u mean by remove.. just unplug and leave it hanging. yr bike will run very rich..

if u unplug totally from system.. ask demod ..

So is it not good to remove it right? Thanks for e advise.

IMO ... No point doing mods, asking problems that your Busa is already aged and you do not even know slight bits of Hayabusa.

Moreover, you did not even keep up a healthy engine for all neccessary major maintences stated by the Suzuki Factory manual.

Best way to solve your problem fast is to sell it away and buy a younger 2nd hand Busa with low mileage.

You may think my statements doesn't make sense to you for this moment but time will tell and you will eventually know what I mean. :p

:goodluck:
