Yes..it's effective...I've have seen that machine in action before...very clean...also make sure you test your injector before and after the cleaning process before installing....

 

Bro Snake_sin, when u mentioned "test your injector before and after" what does it really mean. Mine I am having difficulty starting up, sometimes ders a lag in response fr the time u press the starter until the bike actually starts up by quite a few seconds but once started up the running no issues at all, smooth and normal. Another thing the consumption seems to have increased significantly too. :-(

Has anyone heard or used the ASNU machine for cleaning the fuel injectors, is it really effective?

 

Cleaned my injector before. Really make a different. Also u see that your duty cycle change slightly too.

Check batt and starter for starting. Injector could affect the fc too.

Norman usually will do a test showing u the before spray pattern n after cleaning pattern. U would see a diff right before you eye.

Ohhhh I see now, yup I hv checked my battery's condition and the starter too and they are both fine. Thks Quizesilver:thumb: for enlightening the issue at hand. This is why i believe it is impt for us to share our experiences and knowledge, we benefit each other through info sharing and at the end of the day save time and money too. You can try what bro quizesilver says...another way is too using two pin directly connect to the terminals of your injector and listen for a "tick" sound....if got sound mean the gate in your injector is fucntioning...given your symtoms, do check your fuel filter and also air filter if you can...hope this helps...

what happens when ur engine oil starts to become lesser? Where can i find a reliable mechanic?

Bro, thats strange man! Before getting worried, please check the following areas for leaks:

The EO drain plug area

Around the oil filter area

The cap for pouring new EO into your engine area

I once last year had a similar experience. I was riding down the CTE to Tekka Mkt and as i was abt to park my bike a fellow Indian rider accosted me, he asked in all seriousness "Hello bro, ur bike got use 2T huh?". I replied "No, why?". He told me that earlier on when i stopped at one of the traffic lights, a lot of smoke came out from my bike.

I then realised that it was high time to go for my "Top Overhaul" servicing which costs a small bomb. I already knew by then that my engine oil was burning off during idling and had to closely monitor my eng oil qty from time to time. Of course needless to say my gd regular mechanic fixed it up.

So RX1000 i think if u hv the time n spare cash u may nd to bring it to a gd mechanic for diagnostics to confirm the problem. Snake_sin's advice is also spot on.

Actually after my first experience i realise dat its not possible to estimate the cost of doing a top overhaul simply bec it all depends on the actuL condition of ur internal engine components and if the wear is bad. However the mechanics shld be able to give u an estimate which usually is on the low side (meaning the lowest possible quote) but after the engine is already opened and the true condition of the engine displayed the actual estimation may be much higher.

I was initially quoted an estimate of ard $800 but after the engine is opened and with more wear n tear parts required to be replaced it end up with abt 1.2K. Of course this is also like buying peace of mind or Ins bec the bike does run a lot better after doing it. It also depends on ur relationship with the mechs and when riding big bikes such as the haya does require u to hv at least a reliable and trustworthy mechs ard otherwise we may get carrot big time.

I hv read many times dat Planet Motors do a gd job n are trustworthy although ihv never bn der before, maybe u can give it a try, somewhere in Ubi if not wrong, google it for the add details Yan.
