If you have to look after your finances, I suggest you don't get a Hayabusa.

Either the bike is too old to keep following up the maintences or is new and expensive.

Fast bikes requires lots of attention and details as well as money to maximize the fun factors and potiential.

Otherwise the owner is just a freaking poster who ride like a pusssy and having so much stress to upkeep the bike. :p

Usually poeple don't like me when comes to comments because they are so freaking narrow minded

that they can't take on the absolute truth facts that what is going on in the real life

or they are simply living in their own fantansy world all the time that doesn't contribute much to the society. :p

Or worst ... buy the machine with somebody else or their parent money. :pity:

So true. N/A is absolutely right. If you ride a Busa like a Busa then be prepeared for a set of tyres every 7000 km, 10km/Ltr, sprokets/chain every 30,000km, break pads every 6000-7000km. This is what my Busa cost me on top of the regular services. A bit expensive but keeps me smiling. Damn worth it.

Cheers

The only stupid reason i have for wanting a 2nd hand is i hate the break in period.

Cheers everyone..

well, most reserve their busa for weekend riding or long distance trips..

most of us here either owns another transport for daily use: cars, small bikes, big bike, bicycle, and some even use public transport (like me :D).

as for me, the heat from the bike is unbearable if one were to use it for local ride, or caught in a highly congested area or in a jam.

As for me,

my busa is my daily ride. After a while I got used to the heat. Since its a daily ride, my busa ain't the prettiest and wear and tear seems to be more frequent. The way I see it, I have to at least do a top overhaul every 3-4 years as by then I have click 100 000 km.

Be it Conver or Diver.. dont tik we r in same frequency..

Weight vs Power vs Pulling force/Bike Vs Compression Vs Torque ...

i saw a stock busa TEAR a GSXR 1000 apart... like a piece of paper during a launching game... is ur call... u tik N figure.... :thumb:

hmm.. ok thanks.

Sport bike usually have high compression to deliver more power per combustion. A 600cc like R6 have a rather high compression. Usually 1000cc and 1300cc have a lower compression compared to a 600cc. Higher CC + Higher compression = Higher stress.

Tappered simply means the inner diameter from small to big. Usually smaller right after the engine output then slowly become bigger. One good example is the Micron Serpent.

This one depends on the bike and rider. A normal rider whom do normal pickup may find a 1000cc bike faster, like me. However like what Nok97 mentioned, with a good rider, the busa can be faster than a 1000cc during launching. But usually when you play launching, you need to rev to a certain RPM and maintain half clutch to get ready for the launch. I don't think you will do that at every traffic light.

thanks for the pic. good example.

yar. i know about the launching part. just puzzled why ang mos like to use busa for drag races.

So true. N/A is absolutely right. If you ride a Busa like a Busa then be prepeared for a set of tyres every 7000 km, 10km/Ltr, sprokets/chain every 30,000km, break pads every 6000-7000km. brake pad change every 6-7k km? that fast? almost like every EO change. lol.

why black or white? does color make a difference?

Cost vary from bike to bike and the parts changed.

The recent one I did not long ago at gerry looi cost me$ 1.8k. Approx.

Having a bike should have prepare for all this

Does not matter if its a 2b or 2 bikes.

All bikes will come its time to do major servicing.

Imo 4 cylinders bikes better at least the time to services the bikes are longer so can save up.

very true. once i overheard a mech telling the rider that his busa's head gasket is spoiled. so must change. and at the same time he recommended rider to do his valve clearance and timing chain thing etc. and the rider was totally shocked with the price. btw. rider just got his bike. 2nd hand one. so i think he is really down on his luck.

If dun wanna go tru all this then be a rich guy n keep buying new bikes. Every 2-3 years change bike.

As long you have enough money to bail you out anytime, that should be sufficient. For example I just spent $300+ to replace a missing belly fairing and broken foot rest bracket just because I ran into something on NSHW. You never know when you need to spent money on the unforeseen.

True so true.

That time go kl I ran to a freaking rock. It was night n by the time my headlight shine on it, it was too late. Left me with two dents on my front n rear rims. Lucky can press back n lucky nvr buang or anyting.
