My company deals with Honda generator. The ultra compact model are EU10i and EU20i. You may pm me if you are interested. It can be quite sensitive to post the price here. But warn you first, it ain't cheap. It Can buy you brand new slip on. Just to let you have an idea. If you just want to know more about choosing a generator, I can also give you some advise. No obligation.

Then time to check the clutch plate.

I doubt so,if clutch plates worn off.

Most likely loss of the surge for acceleration.

My bad. Type too quick. I'm not suspecting the clutch plate worn off. It might be something else. Might need to open up the clutch to see. Cause from what idun69 explained, it like the clutch is constantly engaging even during clutch in.

Have you done clutch bleeding?

My ex 750 also have this problem but only happen when the bike is very hot. Even at 1st gear clutch in, the bike will tend to slowly move forward like it is half clutching. Also have hard time shifting to 2nd gear cause the clutch like cannot disengaged. My clutch cable is okay, bike is only around 20k km mileage. But I sold the bike before I repair the problem.

Worn out clutch plates are possible, when you accelerate at high rpms and engage gear with clutching in.But failed to engage at the right timing.

No worries. If he is lucky and went to the right and experienced mechanic,he will be able to tell the problem and rectify the fault straight away.

Clutch fluid wear and tear and with bubbles in it will also cause difficulty to engage gear,as we are using hydraulic system not cable system.

More headache, conversion to a cable system is much better and practical for long haul touring.

I agree with this too, check colour of fluid and whether the clutch lever feels spongy or different.

Got mods and never maintain recommended by the suzuki manual, FC confirm off the scale.

Rider style is another factor.

IMO ... owning such bike shouldn't put FC as main consideration.

ya.. fc not main consent, jus wandering as most bros hit about 50km more lol.. even travelling on nshw also 200 plus reserve so kindof wondering as more stops might b needed if travelling further up north.. hmmm i just got the bike last month. no mods done to the bike that i known or found out. :(
