i teaching in-line skating for my friend's shop... 7yrs liao and all my student are still in 1 piece... hee... :cheeky:

Sir, do you think a 50+ years old man can still roller blade safely?

Thinking of doing roller skates first (those on 4 parallel wheels) because feels that a roller blade or inline skate will have twisting problem (sideways) at the ankle if you know what I mean.

Also where can I buy a pair of roller skates?

Regards

PS: My daughter tells me to forget it. :weep:

It doesn't make any difference whether a motorcyclist has the right-of-way or not, the rider is the one most likely to get hurt.

its the interest... not the age... by the way, i'm already 34yrs old...

my advise is start from basic... if possible, take lessons...

Went over to East Coast park yesterday evening with my wife,

saw a roller skating rental shop and check out the price.

Cost $10 per hour to rent the skates.

Lady working there was quite friendly.

How much it cost to buy a pair of basic skates that have parts which can be replace when worn?

And where can I buy "Roller Skates" with 4 parallel wheels?

Saw some skates at World of sports selling for $100+ and some even go as low as $70 to $80+, are they any good, will I be able to buy spare parts for replacement when parts are worn out?

think better for u to go to shop like skateline~ more informative sales people who can actually advise and most probably show u the parts u're asking about.

i went to Gallen Sports at Parkway~ the guy helped to make sure my blades fitted properly, and that i'm confortable (i was waddling around the shop for a good 15 minutes) before i make my purchase. and they're having a sale~

She also didn't ask me along. Just that we happen to be there at the same time and place before and after skating.

ok, I supposed you've given up guessing. The plural form is gals. Not one gal but more than one.
