why is my speedo beh zhun by so much ~?

 

actually its really hard to get the REAL speed..

 

me n bro desmond are using digital meter, reading based on our rim size but i tried few method n found out all not zhun de..

 

i was riding in kpe with my fren fazer+ sp+x1r

 

so a nissan was driving 70km.

me 77km

fz 73km

sp 82km

x1r 68km

 

haha, i know funny.:cheeky:

so who is the most zhun de i also don know

overhaul nia la, lol.

 

dun wan la. i not so rich unless u treat me i dun mind. :lol: i june nd to do full service. so saving money.

 

don worry, i last week just settled this problem.. the coolant only connect to two pipe, 1 is link to your block head, another is link to your engine.. so if the leak problem is from your engine, you just have to replace your oil seal+hub which will cost u around 200rm at ks. if the problem lie with the block head then you just have to do a full service and replace the head gasket will settle the problem at 200 too..i did all this in 2 day, spending 400rm but at least problem SOLVED:smile:

wow.. so big.. you place very high up ar? I place around the lower part.. but I put 16x only~17x.. have to check exact number.. cuz I use GPS to track my speed when I cruise... den see my speedo and adjust the numbers accordingly.. :)

 

nice one. milky green. peppermint flavour one. haha.

 

yeah.. let's pour some peppermint into your KR when you leave your bike at planet later.. :p

btw des . how to know if cone bearin need to change liao anot?

Ok, to check your wheel bearings, lift up your bike and try to move your bikes sideways, if able to shake, it means your wheel bearings is able to change.. front wheel bearings, lift up your front wheel.. back, lift your bike's back wheel.

 

Swing arm bearings - lift up your back wheel and when you push to left and right, instead of your wheel moving, your entire swing arm move instead, that's time to change your swing arm bearing - bear in mind, if ANY vehicle hit you from behind.. and you feel a huge force going thru.. your swing arm bearing is gone...

 

cone bearing aka fork bearing - turn your handle bar left to right SLOWLY, you should feel a "lock" on every angle, any angle no lock, means that bearing is gone also.. but no worries. it's ok de..

*disclaimer, dont't change your cone bearing unless really required, heard that "some" people accident because cannot get use to the new bearings in there.. and your turning and etc will change 'slightly"

A bit misleadin..If at every angle you turn you feel a "lock" means your cone bearing is too tight..This will actually shorten the life of the bearings..When the bearings goes kaboom you can feel that it is no longer smooth everytime you turn the bars..Its common sense that bearings are used to reduce friction and make everythin smooth..If it "locks" here and there what for use bearings? :faint:

err.. i dun mean really lock.. my "lock" means you can feel abit of thing over there, if it's smooth on every angle and suddenly one angle EVEN smoother, it means the bearing over that angle is abit gone..
