i took 3 time to pass i think generally alot pple take 3-5times to pass. Sometimes heng sway u get stricter instructor..sometimes heng way u urself that day not performing. Lol my 1st and 2nd try also totally different mistake. i just keep try to rectify whatever they point out lo.

testers are stricter than instructors. instructors can pass u even u didnt meet their min. requirements. they may even let u pass if u don commit IF. but not testers.

Evaluation is prac 7 ?

when u go for each lesson the instructor will ask who is 1st timer for that lesson. then he will explain the DOs n DONs for that obstacle cos. But if u have questions u can ask him on the spot. This is also learning points for those who r having the lesson together with u.

what is more, if you pass everything with min. requirements, you definely cant pass...

turns out my problem is general riding...

so I was right i dont know how to ride:clap:

if u know how to ride bicycle, y do u not know how to ride bike? u haf to get used to the weight, know the safety checks n traffic rules. check out youtube on areas that u are weak in.

if u are ssdc learner, google the circuit map of the test route. ask the instructors areas where u in doubt. relax. don panic. it's just practical lessons, not test. Which areas u not confident? perhaps i can tell u.

This is not true for me. The day of TP i feel actually my instructors are stricter. They caught me on many minor stuff that adds up but not so for Tester. Anyway still see heng sway that day what tester u get la.

there are 2 instructors for BBDC, and 5 testers for the test.

instructors need you to pass test, testers need you to ride right...

so the criteria may be different, and it is case by case..

how to keep right foot up when stop for a right turn, like before the u turn?

right foot must nvr be down unless u are doing Ebrake.

position your bike in a way dat tilt your handlebar slightly to the right like 1 to 2 o'clock position. remember not to obstruct traffic. when u executing the turn, bank or tilt your bike. It's like how u make a right turn. Only thing is now u haf to do from a stationary bike.

same for cdc. on test day 2 instructors 5 testers. instructors will brief u again the test route explaining the DOs n DONs. then wait for your numbers to be called. instructors hope u pass. testers will decide whether u can pass or not base on what u learnt n how u performed. instructors wont get pay increase if u passed or pay cut if u failed. they only will know how many passed n failed. congrats the passes n failures go for re-training. mayb instructors will ask for feedback n tell u how are those testers strict or lenient. dats y instructors can be very lenient. they can pass u during practical lessons even if u just make the mark but still below their minimum requirements. But it was the testers who decide whether can issue u the license or not.

Nw u don haf instructors to guide u anymore. U r a qualified rider nw. Be safe on road. If u are not confident, don go.

Apply what u learnt.

Don squeeze or stay in between heavy vehicles, even when waiting in traffic light. Be visible to driver. Always check mirror, then signal before lane switching. Public roads is different from circuit.

u can say that for nw. but when u gained enough riding experience, u wont think that way. Im a living example. When i 1st get my 2b, i think like what u think nw. But as time pass by, i started to become 1 of the riders that squeeze thru vehicles. haha. whatever it is just be safe on road. Doesnt matter if u get horned at. Just give way to them.

I am 42. I started Class 2B 2 years ago. I also took many lessons. I took lesson 1 about 5 times , lesson 2 about 6 times, lesson 3 part 1 - 4 times, part 2 - 3 times, lesson 4 - 8 times , lesson 5 - 5 times, lesson 6 - 2 times, lesson 7 - 7 times. It took me about 1 year to finish all the lessons before I could book for TP. However, due to busy work, I was unable to book for TP immediately and I renewed for another half a year. Later on I had to book for revision lessons in case I forget all the techniques ... and I remember when I went back for revision lessons (Road / circuit revision) to prepare for my first TP, the bikes were changed from the white 125 cc to the red 190cc ! I quickly booked another 2 revision lessons to get used to the new bike before I went for my first TP. But I did not clear it. It was another few more months due to busy work (and I renewed another half year again) that I booked another few revision lessons to go for TP again. But I realised I needed more practice on this new 190cc bike as I got too many points for the circuit courses. I did not manage to go out on the road. And now with the virus situation, the centre might be closed. So I guess I would have to wait again ....

Most importantly, do not give up !

Just have to make sure u don't make the same mistakes again.

For Prac 7, u have to try to get as little points as possible in the circuit. Make sure you check the blindspots.

On the road, the main issue would be U turn. So, if u can get very few points in the circuit, the road should not be a big issue.

After taking TP twice, I look back at how I got points on the road during prac 7 , I realise some of the reasons they gave me were for minor things that became very big.

I think perhaps when i went for the 7th attempt, they decided to just pass me haha
