I'd choose the Honda because this one is special, not everyone gets to own an Italian made Honda. It's a rare gem to see on the streets compared to the Monster which is becoming increasingly obvious these days.

Definitely the CB1000R.

The Monster has less torque and power than the Honda. And in the long run, the Honda mill will prove to be more reliable and problem free than the Duc.

If we're talking abt Superbikes, one might take the 1198 over the Fireblade. But for streetbikes, I think the Monster is overrated.

CB1000R. At least when I tell ppl "I own a 1000cc Honda" they might think I own a car. :)

Why would you want people to think you own a shitty car instead of a big bike?
