I used to share a M4 with a friend, great bike! The sound the handling.. Try riding to Mersing & u know what I meant. The maintenance not bad n.. But not every workshop can repair. At last, have to let go coz I stay in Jb n ducati are like super magnet!!! Babe n tp also.. I was even stop by Malaysian tp @ petrol station.. "Abang boleh try tak?" n I though I kena saman!! Heee..

I love ducati's!!! But I ride cbr150 now bcoz easy to get to my worklace in s'pore, if Kenna jam also not scared temperature shoot up..

Peace!!

RVF. Put the difference in type aside, both are unique bikes on it own. like natgw said, all ex-RVF riders, if u manage to get a good one, or spend some cash to make a bad one good, will never forget his experience with one. I love my RVF, not because it's 'higher class' than most 2a sportsbike out there, not because it performs better (debatable even by me), not because it has a higher resale value than most 2a jap sports bike out there, but because i always wanted one. similar to my sp, i never took a look at kips, or rs125, got an sp right away when i got my 2b because i wanted one. im sure alot of people out there think like me. my RVF cost me a bomb to maintain and to make it run well, but i never considered all this cost to how i love my ride. i remember the time when i had my rvf, was during my ns days. every week i look forward to book out and take my bike for a spin, rain or shine. definitely i bought bikes to suit my financial capabilities before, but the ones that last long in my memories are the bikes i really love and wanted. buy the bike that u ride in your dreams before owning it, not a bike that majority says its better because the argument will never end. i dreamt of the sp and rvf. how about you ?

From Honda's Phantom to ..................

Clearing each stage at SSDC and BBDC for bike license was fun !!!

Ducati has more expensive parts and the dealer maintenace crew sucks. Get it if u can get other shops to service it, else better get the other.

Very very agreed regarding the service crew. -_- . And I believe there are other shops which does Ducati.

Yup, it's air cooled.. Can be modded to liquid cooling system if u need a cooling system..

Used to ride a m400 and maintenance wise actually same like any other bikes..

The "throb throb throb" sound is very nice.. Haha~ love it!

Nice bike bro. How muh u spend on getting it done up??

eh don't mind me but here's my point of view.

both bikes are sweet in a way.

if i had to choose between this 2..i would go for the RVF.

reason is cos:

i seriously find the RVF so unique regardless how old it is.

the way it's built is like a technology break through during those olden times.

even till now i still think it's a beauty esp when it's stock. =D

not forgetting the unique sound it gives..no other bikes has that feel

well of cos besides the RVF750. haha!

I just LOVE NAKED BIKES!!!

cos to me naked bikes are ment to be customized to

look like a real street fighter! that's more of a hobby kinda thing for me..

esp when you get to achieve something different =)

sadly, reason i got a s4 was cos RVF & m400

are too old already and sadly i didn't manage find a reasonable one.

haha both bikes are unique in their own ways.

Both old, both expensive. M4 sounds like any other twin engine, RVF a little unique with the right pipe, stock it sounds like a pipe with leak, from what I heard, superb handling. As far as riding goes, its never as fun as riding 2 strokes and for resale, S4 and DRZs hold their value better. Just my 2 cents
