hi pple, im new on the road with phantom, thinking of upgrading to S4 in times to come.. wats the common price pple pay for S4? would it be gd to get 1st hand? or 2nd hand is more than enuff? looking to ride it for at least 3-4 yrs..

 

or, is there any better suggestion for class 2 street bike?

 

Actually if you are a relax rider with no intentions of going anywhere but singapore only then super4 vtec 3 is good enough.. Good engine.. cheap maintenance.. CBR125R first hand cost $6K plus OTR. 2nd hand hard to find. Not many on the road.

CBR150 is cheaper $5k plus. Difference is 125R got the EFI carburetor.

 

Is that OTR price or machine price?

I had just bought and collect my new Spark 135 RX. The followings below are the breakdown of price stated by the shop owner which I had paid for in total :

 

Motorcycle Model - Spark 135 RX (Cluthless)

 

Machine = $2995

 

GST 7% = $209

 

Insurance by MSIG for Third Party Fire & Theft = $280

 

Road Tax for 6 months = $32

 

Registration Fee = $140

 

IU with bracket and installation = $150

 

Vehicle Number Plate = $15

 

COE Sep'09 2nd Exercise = $900

 

COE Transfer Fee = $60

 

Free Gift = Front basket

 

Total = $4781

The best shop to buy yamaha is of course the agent itself. If you are lucky they might give you free gift.. OEM parts never come cheap.
