eh when you wanna do road revision with me ah? my tp is in two more weeks seh.. haha anyway regarding your query, assuming u just came to a stop before the red line, and turn off throttle after the first white line.. here are the steps..

1)brake gradually (front and rear, but rear more, )

2)check right, left leg up/right leg down

3)check left ,left leg down/right leg up

4)check right and turn on right signal.

5)move off and quickly change to gear two(might get penalised if you decide to just drag gears until the give way line)

Tip. Front brake more. If you use more of rear brake, chance of skidding/rear tire locking. Happened to me once. Gradually apply more pressure on the front brake. Dont forget to check blindspot at the give way line.

hey broz... me cant wait for tp tomoro... hmm later going for road rev at 4+pm today anybody care to join me..... me name afi fat malay guy with both hand scaldded(due to accident in the kitchen)

Posted

wah husky 1yr old still 8K? hmm.

for e-brake guys...don't forget to straighten your arms once you cross the white line.

incorrect posture is 4 pts.

incorrect technique only 2 pts.

oh and don't stand by your hand on the clutch, some testers will give you pts for that. clutch in only just before you stop.

I always dropped off the plank. ONe tip,RELAX. If there's someone on the plank infront of you, dont look. Cos you'll end up worrying or stressing yourself out. Take a deep breath, go fast up. Once your bike on the plank, look ahead. clutch in a bit and tap rear brake. Keep looking infront. I once used up one whole CR just for plank. Heh

lol! went for another CR today and im glad to say, im ready for plank! *3* lets hope i can keep it up tml and pass prac 5 first try~~~ wheewhee~

haha i would lah, i thought i could differentiate between motorcycle sounds, as some of them are really distinct, but i was baffled when this spark/x1-r really sounded like a motard man, i thought to myself, hmm must be the yoshimura pipe..

I see many of you guess having an interest or already have scramblers... I'm also interested in 4 stroke scramblers, but i think majority of them are 2 strokes, am i right?

well there are a few, try out the new ones, rieju/derbi, comes with electric start and has a four stroke engine, i was skeptical about rieju at first, but then when i asked te salesman, he said that it could out run a drz ! i dunnoe whether its true or not, but he said, the parts are japanese parts or some part thereoff.. and they are offering free coe for this month..

@Flo_rider

probably right.. if all else fails you can try to look for dr200 or xr 200 (both 4 strokes), although very hard to get your hands on one in our small little island..

actually when i went back camp for reservist i saw my unit got 1 regular riding a rather small size scrambler with a very cute small box. i think it was suzuki brand and i'm still finding out the model of it, anybody got any idea? is it a 2a bike?

haha it really nice and i'm really interested in that. i've started to source/seeseelooklook for my 2b bike alr so if anyone got good trustable lobang pls recommend. Probably riding it for one year+ then changing to 2a.

thanks!
