hmmm that license will come via registered mail... station yourself or someone at home until you receive it, hopefully by today..

i call the TP.. they say will print both 3 and 2b on my card.. and i emphasize i wanna see 13 jan not other funny dates.. lol.

bro betta tell them uh. i was in your situation also. coz got family history of someone pass away due to bike accident.

i used to ride without telling them that i already bought the bike. but u know la the feeling, (unless you are heartless).

standby reasons why u need the bike. if they willingly allow u to get a bike, just get a normal 4stroke bike suda. easy maintenance. restu is important. i used to ride 2 stroke, people ask me why 2stroke, i say for transport. in the end, kena slam, people all say, "otak kau utk transport, utk cari makan, kau pkai 2stroke. da tahu moto sakit, transport kebabai. klau utk transport, wave sudala." (simply means, ur head ah use 2stroke for transport and to earn money. 2 stroke already high maintenance, transport your head. if want bike for transport, wave enough wat..)

just my 2cents uh.

oh hehe. i wonder what happen to that girl. coz hers is really a4 paper.

it will take 2 or 3 weeks to arrive uh, as in, your photolicense. and until you endorse your 2b with the TP counter, there won't be any records. dont worry, the date that you passed will still be the date that you pass the TP itself, not the date that you endorse your license. (=

yup. wa. lol A4. mine is a small piece of paper printed with the grids for the chop one. i keep bugging the TP to update the system.. i bought insurance before i did that. the insurance agent like in a hurry to get my $. i explain my situation and they say nvm nvm can one. kns ntuc. lol. but whatever man i can ride now. to all those still waiting don't give up.. i failed 4 times and thought i'll never pass.. BUT I DID! :D

no problemo !

your petrol, full tank can go how many km?

u go shop lor, do smth to the carburetor (if i'm not wrong)..

my sp full tank at max only can travel 130km ... so i everyday need to pump petrol . *faint*

engine got weird metallic sound? of course lah ! engine is metal what. hehehe~ chillax bro, u will learn along the way. or like me, learn the hard way.

hahaha i yesteday go change my valve cabling.. now better already. cuz my cable **** up. when low rpm, valve open. high rpm, valve close. eat fuel like hell.. den also no power. before changing was like 1litre 11km like that. now change already shud be better. i hope can hit 200. but the valve now like very ez open. around 6 5.5-6rpm the valve open already.

A true friend never gets in your way unless you happen to be going down.

2day I went for the Expressway Familiarisation Course. It was fun...:thumb::thumb:

Travelling around 90Km/h was cool.

As I slow down into filter lane, a monster truck carrying sand went by me... Woo.. some sand debris flew off from the back...Have to pull down my visor for more protection ...(Lucky for me i wear glasses. Hehehe....lesson learnt)

Great experience for ME:cheeky:

BTW, Just learnt that those who went for Expressway Familarisation Course can book 2A with earlier test date... Looking forward liao.....:cheeky::cheeky:

don't need to wear long sleeve. just wear what you normally wear for bike lessons.

you can still choose to wear your elbow and knee guards if you want. advisable to wear knee guards, fall down won't be so pain

i always pull down visor on expressway. not only sand, but dust and insects can fly in and irritate your eyes. so far, 2 insects have died on my visor. last thing i want is to lose control of bike on expressway, and get run down cuz eye kenna some nonsense. and when it rains, if never pull down visor, its very painful.

@eylow what did you wear? jacket?

and how long will everything takes?

I was wearing wind breaker.

The whole trip lasted up to almost 2hrs (In between we stop for some briefing... Instructor point out the mistakes we made and the danger we need to look out for in future..:thumb::thumb:)

hey eylow,

dont mind you elaborating on "those who went for expressway familiarization course can book 2a earlier test date"? Means that u dont need to wait for the conventional 1 year upon getting your p-plate and book class 2a lessons or....?

The cert says ''As recognition of your participation in the EFR course, you will be given an early test date when you apply for your Class 2A license subsequently.''

So I think still need need to wait 1 year after the date printed on your license. Hahah. :)

Base on the certificate given, it was mention that we will be allow to have an early test date. Hence we still need to go through the proper sequence of 2A lessons except the waiting time for TP will be shorter as test date will be push forward.

ah...okay. now i'm enlightened. But, i saw at cdc's website, for the defensive riding course, there's the full day and the 1/2 day course. so...whats so different bout both of them? for what ive read through this thread, alot of the newly qualified 2b riders went for the 1/2 day defensive riding course. so, what the hell is the full day course all about? LOL

Posted

haha.. unfortunately it seems like it. thanks for the enlightenment. LOL. anyway, i saw this defensive riding course thingy in cdc website. it states that the 1/2 day course cost $53+ and full day is about $90++. Now, from what ive read through this thread, most of whom had passed their TP went for the 1/2 day course. So what the hell is the full day course for? whats the difference? :D
