Anyone know what is the price of Givi simply 42L box and base plate at LAB, dun require the rack and installation?

How about the price of a similar box and base plate in JB? Which shop in JB carry the most variety of GIVI box?

A newbie question on boxes: are all boxes compatible with the racks? If I already have a box and I want to change it, is it possible to do it without changing the rack?

If there's more than one kind of rack, then are there names for the different rack systems? If not, how do we quickly tell if the boxes are compatible with the rack or not?

Yap, no need to remove the old rack.

Have changed mine, just mount the new box holder on top the old one.

Think the rack design go with the brand of the box.

BTW I've two old large one, anyone interested ?

see again and again and again and again and again.......:(

Pass by Chiap Lee along Serangoon today, saw some used GIVI box outside the shop. Went in and asked if they are selling those box, was quoted $70 for a old model GIVI maxia box with base plate. W/o hesistation I paid the $$ and installed the box on the spot. I already have a rack installed on my bike, so the installation was a breeze.

The condition of the box is 7/10 because of some light markings I believe can be clean off with kerosence or used Kiwi to polish up. This is only a one time offer, it all depends what kind of second hand box is available at the shop.

I'm using the same box. U'll experience backlight failure after sometime due to the contact point fault.

I'm STILL using the same model except a new one. I ask my mechanic help me connect the light directly to the source. Tat mean even when i open my box, when i step on my brake the light will still lit.

I'm used to ride TA150. Din find fixing a box a hinder even when i hit one fifty on the highway
