if x-1 go there, 50% can reach.. surely got problem on the way.. cos its not a long distance bike.. and don't forget the gangsters there when u're doing pit stops wif bike.. even lorries there drive faster than kups.. dangerous.. best to take bus.. or maybe aeroplane.. hehe..

bro Thai R, u cant expect people have the same luck as you. Yes luck. Cub are not meant for long distances, i doubt cub engine can endure..unless you are reving only 70-80km on the huge big expressway? .. joke.

Remember the "angin lentang" which is very dangerous. Having big lorries, cars passed by you, and not all people have the stamina as you do..

Diff cub, diff problems. But, riding up alone to thai w/o any problems .... what i can say is - god is beside you.

I dunno when i'll go again. but will keep u informed if and when i do.

It took me about 14hours to reach Thai border and another 1 hour to reach my house in Hatyai.

Cheers !

Cubs not meant for long dist ?? Cab cannot endure ??

Let me tell u....any bike(mechanically sound) can do it.

70-80kph ??

I was revving down the highways at 100-110kph !!

Joke ?? No joke !

it all boils down to whether u can take it or not.

the bike will handle it just fine provided to care enough for it.

Cheers !

PS : Dun be a wet towel, encourage or at least keep quiet. Let ppl realise their dreams of touring on their waves or cubs.

hmm can sense this thread got sparks liao... but i still wanna add..... whether u can ride up or not is up to u ... but don force yrself .... most important is to enjoy the WHOLE journey. why be argumentative abt this ?? maybe thai R is more adventurous?? or maybe becoz the trip will be a very long one so some are hesitant? i guess it boils down to personal pref. peace peepz

sometime i thought cub is the best choice to travel all over thailand and malaysia because it is the most common bike there, maybe 1 million cubs ? That means you can get spare parts easily and most important, blend into the crowd and not a target for criminals.
