Single seat cover is a standard piece of accessory from Suzuki..And if they dont have it, you can always search for cheap covers from the ebay..

15km/l is considered pretty bad? Guess mine is gorgeously bad then. 10.5km/l. I think I have to send my bike for big time servicing liao...:sian:

 

My maths suck. The last time my reserve light went on after I topped up full tank was at 187km...:cry:

 

Lol Yeah mine is also same as u AIE , top up full tank ard 186 reserve led on .... ard 12-13km/L :(

haha..just got my ride few days back..abit broke la for now..cant even go to burger king for a meal...:cheeky:...but feel tt its worth it for now...what do u guys think of the colour scheme..pearl white and black/grey sticker...Please dont think im showing off...:sian:

 

will definitely hang out with u guys to get to know the bike and u riders v soon...at least let me recover the $$$ spent on reconditioning the bike...:cry:

 

didnt put the single seater for now coz later my fiancee :gun:..so for now til wedding day have to me good boy la...:faint:

observe the total litres of petrol you put into your tank, from the reserve mark. :)

the most common i've come to know is the stock rectifier bro...some bros here i think change to the k8 version since its the revise version...just this tt i noe of so far..any bros to advice?????

Ridin pattern is relac one ,mostly normal road n sometimes jam , abt 90% nr 10% highway.but i find i whack n normal ride like same leh duno y

hey guys, according to my knowledge, the following factors are the reasons that will affect the fuel consumption of your bike:

 

1) tyre psi not enough

2) heavy throttling

3) very dirty air filter that results in bad fuel mixture

4) excessive reving of your bike

5) for carb; jetting needs to be change/servicing. for EFI; servicing

6) heavy mods???

Rectifier, Coil and batt. Best to install a voltmeter.

IIRC, 07/08s get, on average, 200km before reserve.

 

Perhaps you can consider having your mech tune your bike. :)

Combo of colour use is nice but it seems like the GSXR logo, especially the GSX below is abit out of proportion... :angel:

wah what happen? u went to mod some electrical stuff before hand ah?

 

no i didnt mod anytink, just spray super strong brand X degreaser to clean the clog wif mud radiator and some lower part of the engine.... didnt know tat its super strong to eat the wire insulation and corrode the fuse box... :cry: haha, now lesson learnt and dont wanna try any stuff from brand x. even washing of bike must take care not to splash more on the left front of the bike....

usually ppl who altered their exhaust and air intake will require a fuel injection setting(PC3) or a carb jet kit retune.

 

maybe thats why ur bike is not as efficient as it should be! ahah
