Sometimes i just feel like lying on the tank while riding, backache and arms ache. Anybody got do this? Scared people see me like trying to act racer like that....:cheeky:

Thanks for the advices guys, finally figured out how to turn to "park" position on my ignition, hehe...

 

BTW, does many of you guys remove the SET valve thingy?

I've read alot of ang mo forums and many of them remove the SET valve.

Izit really good for the bike?

i was quoted by a bike shop for both a 1st hand 08 r1 and r6 09 each at the same price(jus the insurance price will vary).

 

$21230 otr w/o insurance (no other fees)

4% per year

 

can ani 1 share that is it advisable to get it at tis price?

or ani other shop can get a better price?

or maybe a r1 08 model or r6 09 model is not advisable to get?

comment will b greatly appreciate as i do not haf much class 2 rider friends.

Hmmmx got budget for 09r1? If so jus get it , if not the 08 also not bad ... R6 wise depends on u urself ..

many many. i'm sure it feels better IMHO, though slight, and it gets rid of the common FI error. so, why not?

i feel that by removing the SET valve... the pick up is abit hollow...

top end is the same... not much difference anyway...

just that ur exhaust sounds louder during idling...

was quoted from a shop.

1st hand k9 gsxr600.

 

ard 20k otr (oni excluding insurance, no other fees)

interest at 4% yearly

 

 

 

can ani advise whether is it advisable to get at tis price?

if possible, pls advise on the pros and con.

and is it advisable to get a k9 600? if not den which version gsxr600 is gd?

ani can advise on the rating,handling, power wise etc of the bike?

hmm.. did u ask for the price of 09 R1? if the price range for 08 and 09 is not huge.. 09 would be great..

if u get 08 R1 pros and cons.

Pros

- price cheaper now due to 09 R1

- 1000cc compare to R6

 

(hmm, can't think much of pros and cons leh.. anyone pls help me fill in?? LOL)

 

Cons

- Insurance premium is sure to be higher for R1 due to its CC.

- 08 R1 is an old new bike meaning its a new bike but old model with old technology. so becoz of it, the bike is made and stored in the warehouse(earliest batch of 08 R1 made in DEC 07) though parts are new but it is left unused for quite sometimes. Up to indivdual to see if its a good or bad.

 

so its up to u to decide wat u wan.. everyone might say R6 is better newer.. But if wat u really wan is a R1 and u go get the R6 becoz everyone says its good.. then personally i feel tat later on u might be changing bike again.. well tat is wat i will do if its me..

 

Bro, important is which bike u like.. and financially u can support and maintain it.. juz some of my thoughts for sharing... :cheeky:

Since you have budget, then you should ask yourself s few questions:

 

What kind of performance do you prefer? top speed or grunt?

 

Going for the looks? Posing factor?

 

Tracking the bike?

hey guys i fixed up my bike already... remove the valve motor n now the irritating sound is gone... n now my bike is open 24/7 daily.... haha... thanks guys..

 

Harlo, what that valve motor for? Can elaborate? This thingy has it for all EFI model?

no sportbike at the moment, just close the phone with Mah ....they have every brand 09 litre bike layin at their floor, but i think i better wait for 2010....

 

sometimes i feel tired ride the sportbike, especially for me that 100% street riding (no track)......sometimes i feel want to quit the sportbike.....worry too much when riding....ahhhh i dunno how to say.....

 

any idea guys...??

instead of that, just bought 2009 street glide yesterday to fill my emptyness....:thumb:

hmmm dif is tat r1 = 1000cc r6 = 600cc alot of diff in riding posture, handling and taming of the bike... if u like to travel and love speed, do get the r1. reach faster in short period of time. correct me if im wrong. if u got abit more $$$ why not fork out and get the crossplane 09 model.... sound also garang. :thumb:
