Anyway, I rode the bike yesterday and found that the temperature was shooting past 120 at normal crusing speed. It even crossed 130 at one time. This is unusual as even in traffic jams, I will only hit 110. Coolant issue?

Then today, I cannot even start my bike up. Not sure whats the problem with it? I just went servicing 3 weeks ago.

Does anyone know whats the problem with it? Or any advice for me?

mine max was 109 degree Celsius... (rare case)

normal over hear is 104 only. ur case better go change the whole radiator or do something to improve ur cooling system...

N du-lan when they they always say "faster do, faster finish, faster go back".. be it ns days or reservist... those phrases are are on my nerves.. no matter how fast u do still haf to wait for others.. or wait for WTF things to clear den can go... uzually tbe "faster go back" are always cheating our feelings..

Bro if temperature high as wat i understand coolant no good or ur thermostat got problem or there is a leak

Well, if I can start it up, I will be able to take to my workshop. But now cannot be start. The bike keeps on coughing.

Looks like have to call bikebulance le. If radiator problem, how much to service/ replace? Anyone know any workshop that open till late? I only know the one near Bradell Road opened up to 10pm.

I encountered tat prob b4. Went to check. Turns out my radiator cap spoil. Coolant empty. So bot new coolant and new radiator cap worth $25/-.. Hopefully its the same for ur bike. If not then $$$$fly fly. Heh

In the slipstream of Singapore's Formula One success story, the city-state could soon boast a MotoGP race after the contract to build the Republic's first permanent racing track was awarded.

 

Southeast Asian motorcycle race fans now hope the likes of multiple world champion Valentino Rossi can be lured to Singapore's $235 million facility.

 

SG Changi Private Limited won the contract to build the track and director Eddie Koh outlined the consortium's plans to bring in top-flight races.

 

"The completion date is slated for the end of 2011, and we hope to start events in 2012," he told Singapore media.

 

"We have the intention to bring in a couple of international races like the GT events, and MotoGP."

 

Located on a 41-hectare site near Changi Airport, the facility will feature a 4-km FIM Grade 1 and FIA Grade 2 certified race track, a 20,000-seater sheltered grandstand, karting track, a quarter-mile drag racing track, motor museum and 35,000 square metres of commercial space.

 

Adjustments have been made to the original plan of a 3.7-km track, to accommodate the FIM's requirements for MotoGP races, local media reported.

 

Singapore sports minister Dr Vivian Balakrishnan called the project a "landmark in development", after the Republic's hosting of the world's inaugural Formula 1 night race in 2008.

 

"The Formula 1 race is the crown jewel of Singapore sports, and we view that as step one ... we need to go further than that, and that's why we conceived the idea of building our own motorsports hub," he told a news conference.

Radiator repair will have 2 depends on wats the probz Bro? You can Open Up 2 Check your coolant level first 2 c whether leaking anot. If leaking try topping up the coolant first & try start. Find the source of leak. If Lucky Hose leak then nt much $$$

U nvr go Track Dae b4 izzit ??? Aft the Practise Sessions, later will announce;

1st: 400cc & Below Race.

2nd: 600cc & Above Race.

 

U juz wait for the time, then U Ride in ur Bike 2 the Starting Area 2gether wif all other Intrested Riders. U positioned Bike in any Starting Pocket Slot u like. But i recomend for Us Newbies We take slightly behind ones ah coz Start oni all will shoot forward like Krazy, then late braking, take 1st Corner. Gt accident b4 many timez at 1st Bend coz Newbies like understand, then cannot handle, lining also like F@Rk then the Rest will get Pissed of wif U nt worth it at all Bro. Later U becum Hot Topic. Especially if U get caught on Camera

 

Its Fun & a great Exposure 2 Test ur Limits & know roughly ur Standard Great 2 know U're Intrested Bro. All the way la...
