From your pic, below looks more correct. Running above looks tight and damages the corner of the fairing. But I could be wrong. Check that the cable should not feel forced into position.

Hehe, whats your new ride?

Hi All, new here. Sorry to ask questions on my 1st post.

Anybody encountered a high pitched whirring whistling sound when you ride? The sound is there when the gears are engaged, disappears when clutch is in.. soo definitely not the helmet. :p

Just worried its some clutch issues. So far no leaks, no problems with the bike. Riding a 06 GSXR750

My ride also hv e high pitch whistle sound whenever i open my throttle frm mid rpm to accelerate.. Not sure its e exact same sound u refering to.. Bt if its e same i think should b normal, mayb gaining power frm those electrical part im not sure.

Nah dont think so... cause its there even at low revs, regardless of gears. Thanks anyway

Bro, intake sound from velocity stacks when STVA opens during open throttle. When you clutch in, you don't open throttle right?

Hey uncle... its me who bought your bike. Btw... its there even when the throttle isnt open, like when im slowing to a stop.

Yup, that's why I know :) It's a gixxer trait. Gixxer ram air intake is one of the best designs. The air intake "noise" lets you know it's working well :) When close throttle and bike still moving, the engine is still turning at high rpm and drawing in air but reduced fuel. So intake sound still there when decelerating, unless you clutch in which will return rpm to idle. Read this

ooo.. ok maybe im just being paranoid, after having my previous bike let me down so often. After getting used to the exhaust sounds, im picking up so many other noises. Anyway Thanks! Good to have a peace of mind.

It's a sportsbike and meant to be ridden hard; once in awhile need to go clear carbon  Of course maintenance must also keep up.

Guys, do our bike even street legal always attract LTA to send us for those inspection even if our bike is street legal? anybody has that kind of experience? Recently i was stopped by LTA for maybe illegal full system. Because my cert with shop, he said he will check if mine is full system, if it is, he will not send letter. But mine is legal full system, i still receive letter saying a report has been made against my bike.. i scared they purposely find fault sia..

Just learned that you can change your riding position with just altering the air pressure in your tires :)
