ya, agree wif Koma that the headlight sucks, i now know why the previous owner changed it to the HID type...

Whaa koma, you have so many ideas to do this and that to your bike that eventually wonder how it will turn out but one thing's for sure. Its gonna be a" ONE OF A KIND GS" in Singapore! :goodluck:

gotta do up slowly lor, me wan 2 make the bike fit for riding. 2dae changed cltuch cable at chua's place reveal that i need to change my clutch housing liao as my suspicions told me n tats $1500 damage olredi then might as well change all the seals in the bike n maybe all the screws as its 5yrs old olredi then can ride happily for another almost problem free 5yrs :) but tink whole damage should be around the $2.5k region. tink take the money after the sale of my vfr for all these repair costs then when my transport bike come n after my trip next mth then send in for full service liao. bike slowly do up c it change bit by bit then "song" else 1 shot do all veri fast sian liao. oh yah RT sorry the "small incident" 2dae. u bought the tank bra juz for "that" if yes im really pasieh then hope i can compensate u abit. anyway nice meetin u n ur veri gd condtion gs 2dae ;) knn juz now at LC if all the gs line up in a straight row at 45degree macham like sellin bike at bike showroom liao, then all put a price tag on the windshield :p yah drawin out the design now gonna mail touratech to maybe ask for installation manuals of the desierto raylle fairing n if best can get the dimensions of the fairings

Well, originally its was red. Its the 5th GS12 on the road. Owner is a German who did not like red so send it to US for airbrush n some light works.

Aiyo, there is no such thing as BMW pple lah, but I know some pple got real good ABS :cheeky: Anyway, owner is a real nice guy, wont hump tump u lah  We were all seated at the most outer tables. The cafe is actually called the Carmen Cafe. Nice place with lots of parking space n facing the road when we can see bikes zooming past as well with chio bus :cheeky:

Easyriders is also another bike group and the President is Dominic Quek aka Encik Quek. Nice chap with a chatty personality. Most r riding either superbikes or sports tourer.

Heard they organised the 3NCR ride in 1999 or 2000. Recently he just told me he is going to organise a Singapore Charity Ride but pending confirmation from some more logistics, interested ?

ohh i know him... he's riding a '02 Silver FJR... saw him at GP......

hey i dun mind...... rem to PM mi about the details when everything's finalised..

Nolan helmets is the best helmet i ever had..... with the price, it's value-for-money too!~!

With anti-fog visor and top helmet ventilation dat actually works n u can feel the heat dissipating...

It comez with reflective stickers too... with space for add-ons...

Good rain protection... ride tru heavy rain.. last time my helmets will leak abit here n dere... but not Nolan....

Comfort wise... very gooD!~ cushy n nice smelling.. with acti-gard( or some anit-bacterial thingy) and fully removable inner linnings..

Wind/sound protection very good!

Aerodynamics wise.... last time i used to wear all rounded helmets... do not seems to have a problem with wind slapping..... but seems with the new N101 Classic which have this hump at the back... i seems to get slap like nobody's business at times..... (own opinions.. dunoeif others get slapped too) Thus N100 wud be a better choice.. but itz a old design and in-stock for too long.. dat time wanted to buy, but the shop dun wana sell, saying the cushion inside no good, mouldy (or sumthing like dat)

Lastly itz strap abit too long... without velcro... i settled it by asking mi gf to cut it and sew velcros on it....

All in all, other than the dubious wind-slapping i get occationally.... itz the most comforable, affordable, enhance capablities and good looking helmet i ever had.... :thumb:
