First of which you will like to know what are the parts you require.

Here is a website for the parts number you will require:

http://www.maxbmwmotorcycles.com/fiche/fiche.aspx

Look out for the items for your bike.

I am sure you will enjoy working on the bike and if you honestly feel that you are not a wrench monkey, you could get the parts in and possibly get some professional help from guys like Alan of Perfection. But do talk to him first and see if this is the best way to go.

Otherwise, i believe there are heaps of info from the various BMW websites around the globe.

Well good luck to Ur rebuilding. In the first place u shld Tot of such ting could happen to a 190k km machine could just need a rebuild. Anyway the coe can be renew again for another 10years after u rebuild it.

I think its worth to rebuild and renew Ur Coe. Coe can be renew as long as Ur bike is still road worthy and u renew it 10 yrs a time not 5 yrs.

Who u got the bike from?

Bros any website that can order globaly? the one you pass to me only in US....fir_chan

That is only for easy reference to the parts u are looking for.

Can try Motoworks.co.uk recommended by others here. I ordered some stuffs and was impressed with the service, price and speed of shipping. Truly a GEM, 5 stars.

Fazil1624,

Yeah...take the website as a reference to take down all the part numbers you require for your rebuild and probably use Motoworks.co.uk for ordering purposes.

Thanks Enjoy for your tip.

Try Varta from Hwa kong, just change it for $170+GST. DIY pickup from TUAS though. Check with them if u can pick it up from other places, I work nearby, so their warehouse is a convenient place for me. Call and confirm the order. Get them to slow charge the battery overnight before u pick it up.

Parts no: 519 901 017 (19Ah, GEL type, about 6.2KG, HEAVY!)

Or if u can get your hands on YUASA 51913, even better. 4KG+ nia. But I could not find it anywhere here in singapore.

Don't you have warranty on new batt?

Hi guys

any reco on battery not from PML, as recently replaced but last for about 2 months then no more cranking power even charged externally.

Sounds like your alternator might be faulty since battery can last at least 1 year even for a lousy brand. I suggest you check your alternator 1st before you change to new batt. else you might have to change batt again in 2 months time.
