Think in my opinion BMW is common enough nowadays for most big shops to be able to handle. Think it's just the electronics that might be a bit more finicky to fix, even under agent. Whether PI or agent, think best to do your homework and see how deep your pocket want to go and whether you want easier or harder life with the bike. give and take, cant expect all 100% best from your bike shop, bike and yet expect very good price.

 

Anyways, ups for your sale! Was eyeing the 800R myself too.

If price diff is only 2k-3k between PI & PML (and I've verified it is really just 2k-3k recently), then just go for PML. Imagine paying 40k+ for your bike and having to doubt if PI can really service it properly. Moreover, resale price is usually better for PML bike. So end of the day, the 2k-3k difference may not mean much.

I still have my brand new Montana 650 + Touratech lockable bracket to sell off. Both are open but I've not even mount it or use it. Selling because I found a more "all-in-one" device for my use (basically a waterproof phone la).

 

Decided to sell the Montana at $600 and TT mount at $150. Both at slight loss. Its still brand new. Definitely a good buy if you considering this solution. Not trying to pull a quick one, just want to move some stuff sitting around that is still good value for buyer.

Anyone know if there's anyone in Singapore who brings in steel braided hoses for 1150GS (ABS non-servo assisted)? I've checked with Bikelab (Spiegler) and Unique Motorsports (HEL) but neither of them have hoses to support ABS version.

 

Or ordering online is the only way out?

Bros... how much are you charged for a throttlebody sync for your GS?

 

the twinmax cost US$130 include shipping. On Youtube the synchronising can be done quite easily by adjusting the throttle cable screw and the BBS. Best part is you can connect it and check your throttlebody balance ON THE GO. According an articles i read, sync done on loaded condition is much more accurate compare to revving the engine stationary...

 

Might wanna buy 1 soon.

Good evening, sorry to hijack into here. To the R1200 BMW. FT71xx, sorry abt the normal beam pointing skywards just now at KPE at abt 8pm. Was not feeling abit well, tats why did not notice the fault. Now fault corrected. Cheers.....

I believe thats your signal light bulb.. It doesn't cost alot even if u buy the bulb yourself. Definitely less than $10.

But before u do that open up the signal cover and check the wires connected to your signal light cover that attaches to the bulb itself. Usually,its just loose connections. Tighten it up and and on your ignition.. if its ok then its good. If not, yeah need to change bulbs. But very unlikely though.
