@maddog   at least confirm that bike is from PML and not a PI..post 12695 i already mentioned the benefit of PML bike   the rest of the check is just like buying another 2nd hand bike..oh yeah make

Hi guys. How reliable is the tyre inflation reading on the display? I keep pumping 36:42 but my reading keep showing 32:38! Anyone experience this?

 

TPS sensor is not 100% accurate but typically +/- 3psi. The important function is that if your TPS indicates significantly lower tire pressure, you probably have a flat! My rear tire TPS reading was 11 one morning when departing from Hatyai. Stopped to check and there was a nail in my very deflated tire. The BMW is such a comfortable bike that I barely noticed. !

Anyone having problem with their Touratech panniers on the GSA? water went in when I had it about 2 months, went to PML for some water test, verified and was replaced... now it started again, water going in again... damm!

Mine's out of warranty, so I conscientiously check every time after riding thru rain.

The BMW Factory gives 2 years World-Wide guarantee. If yours is fitted with Touratech panniers then you need to check with PML (if you bought from them). I assume PML gives 2 years guarantee for the Touratech panniers as well.

Maybe never close properly due to alignment?. I have GSA panniers on my 1150. Seems ok. sometimes mis-aligned rubber seals.

Just send the panniers for water test and confirmed leaking. Hope the new replacement comes soon. Hope this doesn't happen for the 3rd time, or someones head will rollllllll ! :(

Hi everyone, its been sometime since I got back to riding. Does anyone have a 02-06 GSA low seat that you want to sell? If you prefer a standard GSA high seat, we can swap. If you have a spare standard GSA high seat, I don't mind as well coz I can't bear to cut the foam of my original seat. Any leads will be appreciated. Thanks.

Hi bros, for any of you living in the Bukit Panjang area. Please be on a look out of a woman in the late 30's or early forties doing a recce for motorbikes in parparks. I ride a GSA. What happen was this lady was seen taking pictures of my bike from diferent angles stopping to make a call then doing it a few times. My wife saw her while driving into the carpark. Thinking maybe she is a BMW fan my wife decided not to care too much till the woman starts to take pics of parts and different angles. So my wife approach her to ask what's going on and guess what, she Bolted and run like mad lah...I've check with my bike shop and got no issues with them. Hav'nt scratch any car with the panniers yet(choi!!!). If I mayhave piss any one off on the road, she must have taken great effort to track me home....then again no. All I can think off is there could be a syndicate out for parts as the GS range is ast becoming popular like Super4. Just be aware of this lady in the late 30's to early 40's. She was seen wearing black shorts and have panda like eye rings. She uses her smart phone for her camera....insuarance agents or investigators don't work that way. Unfortunately my wife didnt managed to take her pics as didnt expect her to run off just like that.

Bro, guess it is good to invest a camera in your car for the purpose of your bike in your car park.. if that is applicable.

Why she take picture at your bike? Maybe she want to do photoshop of your picture with her together your bike so that she can feel orgas everydays. Lol

Or she finding a place at your bike to place a GPS trackers to track you down, so she can date you lol.

Original and normal battery no different.. Still a Yuasa brand when I changed it before.

The only difference original battery chop you like crazy not inclusive labor.
