Hey hondawavefan,

Your 20k service plus front back tyres change is that price, same as mine too.

Don't worry , you are not cheated.

Just remember, you want enjoy the bike, you need to accept the price.

Hope this help.

Yes you should.. Like it or not but thats the price sending over to the agent. Labor will always be more ex than parts. Start to learn sumting small like how to change the air filter and light bulb. But seriously, just throw away the stock air filter cos they're crap and always plugged up.

Hi

What's wrong with the stock filter? Got feedback from someone who went to Laos the aftermarket filter don't work as well as the stock.

Cheers

Hi all, anyone knows where I can buy Castrol 20W50 engine oil in the eastern side?

For Boxer engines, do you guys use anything else other than 20W50? Any recommendation?

Just a personal feel really.. Experienced using aftermarket air filter compared to stock airfilter for me personally, gives a more smooth output and more breathability. And the mileage compared from what i see on my bike is I frequently need to change it more often that I do cleaning the KNN or BMC filter. Especially in the sandy lands of Laos/Cambodia.

Yeah its individual feel so everyone's different I guess.

Not so sure about Castrol but 20W50 can be bought at any motorcycle shop especially in the east side. But why particularly Castrol? There's other brands thats equally good too.

Other types of oil?

Well I've tried 10-40, 15-50 and it works out pretty fine. Maybe just maybe..(im guessing here) the only difference with 20-50 is the boxer "drinks" less oil compared to the other 2. Its a thicker oil. But i can't be of any help if you're talking about the different specs, API specs blah blah blah..

I failed my chemistry test.

In terms of heat, every bike has em'. So put on a pair of jeans

I find it interesting that the oil filter (Part number 11427673541) is known as Oil Filter for Catalyst. At $19 it is not too bad a price.

Was just wondering if anyone here going for the 3NCR in Penang this coming 23-25 August13. If yes, maybe we can ride there together. Confirm going on my side is 3 GSA leaving on 22nd Aug ( a day earlier). We have also booked the event hotel at Bayview Beach Resort. Cheers.
