Both also 19yo and 20yo, no difference in price.

CBR4 was 800 for 3rd party. Only NTUC . FM plater.

DRZ is 1050 for 2nd party. AXA. 1400 for NTUC. ''FBC'' plater.

Of course I bought AXA.

so expensive :( no NCD?

can NCD be transferred from insurance company A to B?

Thats our age, we buy X1R and Spark insurance also expensive. :(

But If you wan something easy to maintain, abit easier on the pockets and reliable go for the DRZ.

I bet you will be spending way way way wayyyyyy more with the CBR4.

DRZ can help you save a little more when you're in NS, like ME!

CBR4 was a killer for me dude, spent 2k plus plus on repairs and maintence during 8months ownership. :faint:

But nonetheless, It was good in performance for sportsbike and I was happy with it.

Bottomline, Just ride what you enjoy!

When was your last oil change? Too much clutch cable play?

Difficulty in downshifting, how about upshifting? When engine hot or cold?

Clutch plates worn will cause clutch slip only.

I was maxed out at 169 KMH and he just went past me.

I estimate he is topping off at 180 KMH.

Impressive. The most I could ever eek out of my (stock) DRZ was about 140km and my wife was right beside me on the CBR150! I put it down to wind resistance.

No sir... I can hit 176 KMH with another sprocket combination... I was going for acceleration out of the corners this time around.

What other mods does it take to get your DRZ to do that?

Carb, exhaust? how about cams, porting etc?

As the engine gets older, wear and tear creates greater clearances amongst the moving parts. As such, the engines get noisier.

Using thicker oil will help cushion and dampen the parts in the engine.

For older engines... the question is not about semi or fully synthetic oil.

Its about the viscosity of the oil.

Raptor did mention that his Zeta shipment is coming in soon.. you can check with him..

I would recommend Driven for spocket and chain, not only durable but they are available in many colours to choose..

sorry bro!! can i no what is the original sprocket size??? thanks!!!

stock final drive ratio is Front 15 Rear 41..

Belray Thumper, either 10W40 or 20W50..

Changed monthly regardless of mileage for me..

Raptor is the one that recommended this to me..
