Hi guys.. i seem to have an intermittent electrical issue, where do u normally go for servicing? I personally don't think Mah is good at servicing at all.

 

Eh, Mah claimed they do not even have the tool to adjust the rear suspension... I asked them twice, twice they say not able to do it cos dun have the tool.. Hard to believe from an authorized service agent for SYM... To add on, both occasions I went for servicing, then asked. Not specifically go and ask them to adjust.. tsk tsk...

front brake not so effective using stock brake pad.. i have changed but only improve a little. best apply both brake when slowing down to be safe.

the front brake caliper not really good, after braking the brake has this metal grinding sound

think is normal... i used to it liao... not frequent have the grinding sound after change the brake pad...

this grinding sounds very much like warped disc rotor symptoms,

going to try change to disc see if still experience the same annoyance

Hi to all SYM riders,

I am a new 2B rider and owner for SYM GTS 200, just got my bike yesterday. Any kind advise from experience riders on what should I keep a lookout for my new bike? I have some questions at this moment though...

1) I intend to change out stock tyre (Maxxis) to a better tyre that can handle well in wet road. Any recommending?

2) Where can I get seat cover to prevent cats scratches?

3) Where to source for scooter accessories in Singapore?

Trying to sell off my Joyride 200i EVO. Check out the bikemart section.

I'm very impressed with this bike. Came back to riding after a few years break. My last bike was a Harley Heritage Special. Thought I would ease back into riding with a relatively cheap and easy to ride scooter. Joyride is very civilized and FC is great at 30-32km/l. Pick up is good and quite a comfortable ride. Lane splitting is a breeze and the occasional pillion is comfortable. The flat floor is super useful. But after 6 months on it I am yearning for more top end speed as such I am now looking at the Maxsym 400i.

Dear all,

Hope to get some advice from u guys. Owned my new joymax300i for about 10 months. Recently this happen to me twice already. As I was slowing down in front of the carpark barrier, the engine just died. After a while n a few cranks it starts again.

Not sure if any of u encountered this. Could it be injector problem?
