Fugly aside. Wouldn't it cause back scatter of light on/in your visor at night hampering night vision?

Grounded... :/

Well.. This is just only an idea. It is ugly because of the battery is put outside but our idea design is to put battery inbuilt into the helmet and hide it.. Btw the light will not scatter out of the fiber cable and will not cuz glaring to other road user.

Hope you could remember that this is just only an idea and haven't really finalise the design.

So this survey is to gather information whether you will like the light afix on helmet to increase your visivility to other road user and new fashion to riders for road users.. :cheeky:

I probably wouldn't.

There's always a chance of other drivers / riders looking at me n moving their vehicle towards me unconsciously due to their eye point.

I'd rather depend on reflectors and lights already on my ride.

Of course remembering the rule to wear light colors at night / in the dark.

To Antatica:

If other road users are looking at you means it is proven that they can see you at night.. They will not curiously and go crush you lah.. lol..

So this is just to provide additional safety other then the tradition reflective stickers mah..

To SpiritualRain:

We are going to incoorperate the battery inside the helmet. This pictures show the battery outside is because of my laziness.. =p

i like the concept of making yourself more visible to other road users... but it's a case of one man's meat

not meaning to be a wet blanket on this topic as you are asking for feedback.

but take a look at this, I'm not sure if the rule applies as Illegal Mods?

IMO, a good working tail light and headlamp is more important than a illum helmet..

not to gun down your idea, but a crash with that helmet with a battery within it (or within the foam) definitely does sounds pain to me..

Bro, The accident if big impact then you got battery or don't have still will ouch mah.. lol..

To Antartica: Bro, my lamp named as safety lamp in LTA lor.. then decorative will not impact on this issue liao.. :p

To Biting_Point: Bro. For your info that some bikes on the road got headlamp but with out light so this will be dangerous as they are not visible at all. So this helmet can provide the visibility to other road user. This just my two cents. :p

see my previous post, that's why i say a working tail lamp and headlight(required in SG for day and night) is more important than a illum helmet..

spend that money to fix your light then to buy the helmet..

if you are a safety rider, use the lights not the helmet..

Yeap.. we understand your view wrt your comment. Our point of view is, at all times, you are visible...

Frankly la, on the road, how many times u see riders still riding their bike with the tail light or headlight not working? :dozed:

Our design hor is only a concept design and not a final master piece. As daredevil said la, had submitted our initla design to LTA/TP for approval. Although no sound no picture yet~ o_O

have faith in your own design and go for it.. its tough esp if you are first to do it.. you can't please everyone

if your concept is to make a visible helmet for added safety.. go along that line.. trial and error.. testing here and there.. you'll make it

speed and be home 5 mins early or 7 days late.

agreed. how about incorporating brake light and signal light on the helmet? i saw one guy wearing a helmet with led lights on it. together with it comes a brake light and signal light on the helmet itself. all the best bro! :)
