Nop. You can take up third party only if ur bike is full cash i think. Else, if you go for installment plan, you must get at least a Third Party w/ Fire & Theft (2nd Party).

Or i did heard of new bike must have at least a 2nd party. I'm not sure new bike must get which party, but if you are on loan/installment, a 2nd party is a definite.

I've changed my air filter to K&N.. It is install at the carb..

i realised my FC & performance dipped alot..

install at WY AMK.. Whats the problem? anyone can help?

Due to more air entering the carb? so it requires more fuel to burn. To make it not too lean, they might have set ur jet to the richer side. That's why u will see that ur FC dropped quite an amt.

Hi, you said performance dipped a lot with the k&n air filter? it should increase as it advertised. Furthermore FC dipped a lot would do quite a big damage on your wallet in the long run.

just my honest opinion, my advice is to not mod anything and if you die die have to, find a reputable shop or trusted mech to do the setting for you.

if you want a fast bike, buy a bike that is fast and furious like ktm or any class 2a /2 bike. no point spending a lot of money mod here and there, change this and that trying to make it go fast when it can't beat a kup kia.

Haha, I did change mine to KNN already... But i didnt do much jetting adjustment. Will try to figure it out this sat morning... Just got some info from big bros fazer, he taught he how to do some jetting adjustment, it's pretty ez, but just need some fine adjustment. I guess it should be more lean as of now, because the air intake is much greater now.

Bro, i undastand that this is a 2B bike.. My worry is on the FC n performance coz some rider say their FC n performance were better after changing to K&N air filter.. I will bring my bike to the workshop to rectify this.. Thanks for the advice..

Ermm... Can i but into dis discussion abt air filters?

Chging air filter won't do much to gain speed fora riding machine honestly. FC maybe too. U may get a perfect combustion for ur system but e final drive plays a part too. As for comparing how fast with a riding machine wic is of e same capacity but different machine weight is somethin uve got to conside also.

Like ive mentioned b4 dat FZ16 is a commutin bike. Personally don't hav to mod to make it fast but rather accessories it to get e comfort and pleasant ride. Yup... Buy a bigger riding machine (cc) if u wanna feel how fast bikes can take u.

Ranger, i bet u are the same person who has been posting here with a new acc, i dont know how much the shop pay u to get riders to go to that shop. some of us are def not p plate holders so we know what are the right things to listen and what are not, which shop are good and stuff. i hope u can stop asking fz16 riders to do this and that when its not neccessary for us. we don't wanna be racers who race against sp and r15. and we def don't wanna go to a shop that chop head. Lastly, changing air filter will not allow your bike to go faster, it just allows more air to enter. I feel for fellow fz16 rider Epigun who had his air filter change and experience decrease in FC and performance. You can never understand the uneasiness after that in a brand new bike. just stop your advertising and marketing for bike shop, to you it might seem like a part time job to earn extra income. , to us riders its part of our life. Thank you
