Toyota, Mark X or Camry

i'm helping my dad to look for some jap luxury cars, need feeback and comments on these 2 cars.

 

-2.5 V6 Mark X

-2.4 JDM Camry

-2.4 TDM Camry

 

any comments is appreciated. thanks

for me both are kinda nice to me...hard choice but i think i will get mark x

the new Camry G is a stark improvement in terms of bodylines and styling. The MarkX is also very similar in terms of styling but overall looks slightly tighter and smaller and therefore more sporty especially witht the twin molded exhaust. the V6 engine is also a smoother drive.

 

Both cars are very well priced and affordable and toyota parts are easily sourced.

 

perhaps your choice could be based on the interior styling as you will be in the car as a driver or passenger. and also the fact that markX has a V6 smoother engine.

 

I would pick the MarkX myself.

Yes, Mark X is sportier. If you notice, the Camry is a beefed up version of Mark X! They look very identical....

Mark X not only looks sportier than Camry but also more sportier engineering wise. Mark X is a rear wheel drive with a firmer suspension. Mark X has also the advantage in Hp to weight ratio.

 

Driving a Camry makes you feel like you are driving your dad's car.

 

Camry is a great car however I feel it pales in comparison with the Mark X.

 

Overall, I would pick Mark X just by the look of the integrated exhaust tips with the bumper.

thanks for all who have input!..'ve went to some PI and both car prices are really very close.. i prefer Mark X but the space and roominess of Camry G is attractive too..

 

would like to noe which car have a better resale value and how it is determine?.. thanks

Dunno how to say, but compare to a Toyota Vios it's alot louder.. Mind u Vios is a budget car and engine quiter.. It's not those sporty roar, just noisy.. The sale girl told me the 2.4 eigine is more refine, but I never test.. You'll have to test drive to know how it sounds when driving..

hey thanks for ur view.. i've heard from some tat the thailand engine is not as refined as the Japan domestic model. the JDM camry is purely from japan so i think that the QC and quality will be better...

Tried both, Mark X is definately a more enjoyable drive.

Mark x, 2.5 V6 engine. More zhnging potential. Love the VIP (Yakuza) look.
