Cannot remember who excatly, but now i uses V-power for one tankful and then switches to 95 Octane for the next 3-4 tanks and then switches back and forth.

Also saw a friend's BB just installed an LED rear brake light together with intergrated side signals. Must say it looks very nice and you can remove the original rear side indicators.

Only thing i am not happy is that the front signal light blinkers are in the original orange colour.

Saw the clear ones in the internet (something like Clear Alternatives) and they cost quite a bit. Otherwise, should be a very close compliment to the rear LED clear brake light housing.

If anyone wants to order them maybe we can do a group order?

yes, confirm that motorworld has it and offers for $150.00. My friend got it there. Last time i went to K & T Clifford also told me he have similiar, but i never see the actual stock. To be fair to Clifford, he might not be aware that motorworld is having a promotion at $150. I think he will quote you a little higher in price, but anyway, one can ask him for discount as motorworld is having a promotion. Cheers!

U can check out those new BBs on the rd from FZs to FBB. saw quite a lot of them.

Interesting.

My bike's engine sometimes just cuts off like someone has pressed the kill switch.

this happens only recently and only once in a while, esp when its after a rain or weather is cold.

it happens when i'm in low gear at low speed, pull the clutch in to change 2nd gear, the engine cuts off. also once when the engine was warming up.

when the engine cut off, the FI light is on. no blinking of the FI light. it just stays on.

from what i observed, even with the ignition on, without starting engine, the FI light will not be on. also not on when i engage gear.

To restart the bike (while bike is still moving at slow speed), i just released the clutch, as in push starting, the bike roars to life again. i've also kicked back to nuteral and use the electric start button to start. both ways work.

after that everything is fine already. it only happens very rarely.

anyone knows the root of the problem?

1. check ur batt connection

2. check ur ignition switch (while on position, twist abit)

i suspect is ur batt connector loose.. :)

A shot in the dark really, but it sounds like the contacts on the side-stand switch could be messed up. If your bike has that kinda thing.

You know, where you can't start the bike unless you pull in the clutch, or kick the sidestand up, it sounds like one of them probably needs fixing or replacing.

Looking for this bike scheme. If anyone has a friend riding this bike please i really need your help (Proabably 2005-06 model).

Problem: Ordera set of original panniers but actual colour is slightly different from my Bright Silver BB. Stated there as Rust Nail Silver. So really need to look at new colour scheme a do a comparison and decides whether to spray parts of my bodywork to match the new panniers. :giddy:

Yeah i suspect its gotta do with some sensor too. most likely sensor would be the side stand sensor...

thanks.

Dudu - thanks... will check on the batt connections and ignition

Hi

Does anyone know what is the dry weight and BHP (crank or wheel) rating of blackbird? Thanks.

223kg dry

164 hp at crank

at wheel should be around 130hp +/-.. on dyno
