hello guys, do you guys have any recommendations for aftermarket blackbird exhaust? my bike is currently a carb model but it currently has the efi stock pipes looking to change a good after market, either full system or slip-ons. but must be street legal, otherwise inspection very troublesome

HKL i believe have assorted pipes for BB.

1) Arkapovic(slip-on)

 

2)GPR(slip-on)

 

3)Scorpion(slip-on)

 

Left these 3 brand on the market right no, i've done my research this far, there is another 1 brand coming out soon, LASER. but not yet comfirm....

 

As for me i"ve already found what i looking for....

talking abt Yoshis

I had a weird feeling last Sunday night

coupled with what was already bothering me

So i took out the RS3s and fitted the stock back

Bladdy hell next day on the way to work, came across 4 freaking LTA bikes

at diffrent places.... Thanked my lucky stars

or perhaps GOD already knew that more money was going to be lost further down the week... so save S$700/-

Anyway i timed myself. Took me 20mins to exchange the pipes

So stock pipes during the week... LOL u know what during the weekends....

well scorpion is ok i guess....heard a fren using a scorp and when it remove the baffle.....sounds nice n throaty........not gonna sell mine bro....

Looks wise my personal opinion

 

GPR too small...Somehow with the small pipe, it doesnt seem to gel with the bike (Sorry Sham. At least I didnt say the exhaust are an extention of the rider's something else)

 

Scorpions look almost stock... so the lines of the exhaust follow the bike

 

TBR: The fact its asingle exhaust spells WERKS (They scream too)

 

Akras: Very the swee swee pom pee pee.... Sound wit the baffles already grunts

 

Yoshi RS3: Nicer and sound better than sum TBR straight thru exhaust:angel:

 

Stock: Really the best!!!! esp when ure riding behind a BB ... Nice ass checkout....but must always remeber to clean the black area near the outlet

well to me.....any aftermarket pipes looks nice........but the main thing here that u need to look out is how much increase HP that the pipes can juice up ur bird.......if u are into the bling2......HP is not important then u should go for the tri color stainless steel and always shine the pipes to make it look very nice.....

so the yoshis are only goin to make msia ride appearances

Microns are like totally new in the market for BB i think in terms of street legal

i have to agree with u on this bro......but the micron illegal pipes look deadly and sound outstanding.......better than my TBR........hmmmm talking bout pipes.....termogini also look nice lah bro........might feel like getting it too lah but of cost the trumpet shorty type......i wonder how wll it look like on the BB ah.......place to install not a problem lor.....sengkwang is the answer.....

In that case changing the advancer and changing the needles snd jetting on ure carbs would need to be done....Most times we rarely (correction I rarely) ride full bore so the BB offers me more than enuff HP in stock trim with stock pipes.... the RS3s aare just for sound, reduced overall weight and there were some notablepickup and smoothness....

at the end of the day, the yoshi full system is the best for increase in HP and is street legal. sadly no one is selling it which are the slip-ons that give the greatest increase to HP? do you guys know ?
