How often do u see a class 2B bike with sexy and sporty looks other than Aprilia? Well, not only good looking, this R15 couple with high end technological superiority and fuel economy. Even after heavy conversion to replica its GP counter part, its still retain its overall fuel economy yet giving the rider the speed it desires for its class. Handling is superb as we tower over the handle and braking was good. What else can I say for such a good bike under 2B class.

Let's us talk abt the legal stuff first. According to LTA,all bikes that comes approved to be sold should remain original unless permit is obtained from LTA and approved to be changed.

Now,lets talk about the RIGHT things that could be done on your R15. U may change your tires, pipes, mirrors, signal lights, tail lights, headlights, chain, sprocket and many more within the safe specifications of LTA standards. Meaning, able to function to be road worthy and pose non hazard to other road users. Normally, pipes needs to go for inspection prior to installation.

As for my bike, I only change the Air filter and exhaust pipe. The rest is standard. :)

Hi Keraking,

I have not ride a sonic 125 cc before thus I cannot tell thru experience which bike is faster. For certain, R15 is 150cc 4 stroke sports config and Sonic is 125 cc 4 stroke commuting config. Maybe u can advice me.

Abt the handling and braking,I do not compare with other bikes but this is what I feel after riding Phantom 200,Krr and now R15.

Simplest way to test the handling: See which bike can go round a roundabout at the highest speed :D

Oh..hahahaha!!

you added an aftermarket air filter.. is it K&N? what it do?

U gain faster pick up power with deep bass sound from air circulation. That is all!!

r15 look beautiful and costly insurans also..why not choose a cbr 150.cheap and good.both same 150cc.

Singapore is the most stuck up place to test ride our bike top speed.Apart from the narrow road and many other vehicles, the TPs will charge us like nobody business. Anyways,we only do the test race when the situation permits :)

I really love the handling and the braking of this bike even though this is my 1st bike, and i only ride on cg125 during my time with ssdc :) I have ride the Cg125 on expressway at 80km/h and it was feeling like floating, unstable, vibrating, when passing by big lorry or bus u can feel the crosswind getting shifted, but on r15 there is no such thing. traveling at top speed 140km/h feel stable and u wun get shifted passing by big lorries or buses. I can corner very confidently on my stock tire as well.

As for braking, this bike have saved me few unwanted accident. There was once at midnite traveling down a straight road, i am the only rider on my traffic, i already saw a car taking right turn waiting for me to pass tru, as he was waiting in the pocket, but nv did i noe he dash out when i crosses the white line. I horn and e-brake, luckily my bike slow down in time man..

And there was once while lane spitting in a traffic jam at around 6pm peak hr, i saw a 125z ziping tru the traffic like nth, so i speed along as well, however he was spitting on lane 1 and i was on lane 3. Then after a corner, 1 bus stopped, and i have no space to zip tru, happily on trottle, i quickly change lane, and almost hit the back of a bmw. Knn, i Brake and brake, getting closer and closer, den in end i did an stoppie. 1st time doing tat man, luckily the bike is so stable, i didn't fall or anything, and i continue riding safely...

You can max your bike on the KJE after 10PM. There's usually barely any traffic save for a handful of cars along the entire stretch.

R15 have potential to be a superbike of its own class!!

I'd like to know how it handles corners, how low can you go, stability, what's the torque like etc. Top speed kind of a moot point, it probably won't win much drag races.

Bro, your questions,I think only the engineers of R15 can answer. :)

Personal answers: I rode this bike and tested it on cornering, its as good as my old KRR. Stable is the word.

can i know how much is the insurance 4 tis bike?? 3rd party risk??

How old are u? Riding experience?
