What is ur definition of good raincoat? To me as long the raincoat is waterproof (lol) and doesnt let water seep in + not too thick (less hot and easier to pack and keep, takes up lesser space), it is a good raincoat. Anyway i bought mine from chiap lee, coocase raincoat $35 top + bottom. Good to me.

Of all the raincoats I've had, the best thus far is the RS Taichi Drymaster which is about $100 from Motoworld. Worth the dough as I've yet to experience water seeping through any gaps.

RS Taichi raincoats got good feedbacks and with proper care can last u long. Motoworld having GSS. Price above ur budget but I think worth it if u dun have to change every 6 months compared to normal rain coat. I'm gonna get for me and my wife.

Nope mine perfectly waterproof for now. Nothing to complain about. Maybe u can check and see if ur pants got hole or any part the stitching not done properly.

Masking tape wont help.. Water will still seep through sooner or later once the adhesiveness starts to go away.. Just buy cheap raincoats lor if got problem u can just replace new set..

Last time my father raincoat used for almost 10 years.. nowadays things all so easy spoil.. lol
