guys really thinkin of getting dis bike. all i want to knw is d petrol consumption. can it run at 100km comfortably. n how is maintanance. been reading d forums but can' really find a proper ans.

Haha, me no old bird.

Just got the bike for 1 month.

1 Litre can travel ~ 26 - 28km.

Full tank about 200+ km.

Mine optimal cruising speed is 95 - 100km/h.

But I never whack the bike, maximum speed tried is 115km/h.

 

Of course every bike has it's cons.

I do not like the suspension very much. It could be a common thing about scooters.

Quite a bumpy ride on uneven road or if there are many holes along your journey.

Cannot corner. Stock tire super slippery. Normal riding ok, but i nearly highside last week while cornering.

 

Maintenance super cheap. The bike is a very enjoyable and relax ride.

Extremely fun. So far no regrets after downgrading from my previous bike at all.

I'm sure more lao jiaos can give you their comments.

Maintenance is not super cheap...being a new bike it will not give u headaches for the 1st few years...fun cornering can be done wif better tyres n suspension setup but b4 dat the rider hav to get used to the style of riding a scoot n understand the machine like how it behaves..of coz it will not be as user friendly as any proper setup sports bike or SM

damm my trusty little scoot is failing me..electric systems went crazy nowadays..I guess datz the last bit of watz left untouch which I shld take care of...damm aging 2stroke nothing but pain in the ass :giddy:

I thought change engine oil and oil filter regularly only.

10k change belt, clutch pads the usual.

Still not cheap meh?

ur on a vxr06??...wait till u start to hav water in ur tank, clutch slip, worn out engine mountings, spoil switches, worn out rocker arm, corroded airfliter, rusty leaking exhuast, spoil water pump n stuff..well wont happen within a month of onwership lah of coz.

 

usual servicing no need to change clutch pads..only belt, rollers, u-clips, oil filter n engine oil at least for the next 1 year..change the ride aft 24mths

 

wat is cheap is maybe a honda kup wif juz engine oil n filter to worry abt the rest juz some cleaning n re-use for the next few years :lol:
