Btw guys, when will ssdc be moved to woodlands ? aNYBODY knows the exact date ?

  contrarian said:
Even SSDC doesn't know the exact date at this time, because it's under construction. But for now, they expect to move around April 2009.

It can be anytime between April to July. As long the building is finish, SSDC will start to shift over.

My guess is that, at the point when SSDC can start teaching over there, there will be still a few students(All Classes) who have already book their TP test. I think both side we'll be on operation at the same time for a little while for those taking TP Test in AMK. I still dunno how its gonna happen. The question in my head is, 'What if pple enrol sometime in March or April.' Whats gonna happen to them?

how many % u need from where and what to pass

does it matter?

it matters most, as i dun see ppl DIE when learning riding,

but DIE maybe within 1st year

That's right.

Or course, most students' priority is too pass 1st. Many student have came to me and told me accidents involving them or their friends. And some of them are fatal.

New 2B riders, pls ride safe. 2B bikes(Honda SP, Kawa Kips, TZM, 'cups', etc...)

These bikes can go fast as any class 2A or 2. Example, 100km/h.

But the braking power of these bikes are not so effective if u need to suddenly brake, compared to a Super 4 or R6.

I personally dont feel safe on a 2B bike. Becuz of its lack of braking effectiveness, tyre grip, and unstableness due to its weight. Ride safe and upgrade to a 2A, at least.

There's a lot to learn abt throttle control, braking control, cornering control for all classes of bikes. I can spend the whole day talking to u about how to use ur brakes & throttle. It may seem easy, just a twist of the wrist and the pulling of the levers. But, There's so much more to learn abt how to control a bike. And it gets more interesting along the way. That's y, THIS is my passion. Hope i'm not too long-winded. Ride Safe.

use steel braided hose, better quality brake pads, gd tyres, gd control over the bike, 2b bikes also can brake in time as well as other bikes

I'm the only Ducati rider at SSDC. The only time i saw a 1098 at SSDC was 1 of me ex colleague who borrowed his friend's bike.

I'd like to leave my identity hidden from here.

Its quite easy to find out who i am anyway. There are a few instructors who do drop by the forum. My 999 is most of the time covered. I haven't seen any 1098 around leh.

hmm.. saw his bike 999 before but tat was last year liao.. lol ... dunno did he changed to other model not... :p

Didn't change, this current 1 is just another set of resprayed race fairings.

The 1098 will be my next bike, but i think, by the time i owned it, i wont be at SSDC anymore.

kk i know who you liao, Mr.J

anyway just passed my tp just now, i nearly fainted over suspense while waiting for my turn and at the room.

actually kudos to a guy riding a silver wing who actually gave way to me, to move into his lane, if not for him i would not make it to the lane for u-turn, as there is a long string of vehicles behind.

overall enjoyed my time at ssdc, except for the waiting time for test :cheeky:
